Chapter 3: You're the one.

The police came in immediately, someone called them after all. We were sent to detention center immediately but we weren't interrogated. Mom was questioned but her? They won't plan to set her up for it.

The door opened and Saitou and Miyako entered the room. they were supposed to be our fake parents after all.

Saitou took a deep breath "I'm sorry..."

I was shocked to hear it from him.

"I'm sorry... we're sorry... if at list one of us stayed with her this wouldn't happen..."

I asked "They won't get us into the court room, so... what are they doing to us?"

Miyako wanted to make up something but Saitou said "Jail for at list ten years."

I was shocked. Ruby said "but wait, we are minor. I thought that...."

"you know this is a set-up, right? If we only had one piece of this court room it would have been enough to make it but now... they are using anything to make you guys as the culprit. They even say that you attacked a fan of Ai."

I placed my hand on my head and looked down "They are using our identity against us. I'm sorry for not thinking about others."

He patted my head "you do know that you saved your mom, right? I doubt there was any other way."

Suddenly the police officer announced "please step away. The case's prosecutor and the head of police want to talk to them."

Saitou and Miyako left and then a woman in suit and a man appeared.

The prosecutor was on me "why did you protected her?"

The man said "wait, I told you to do it while being friendly."

"but I was doing that dad."

Wow, a prosecutor and the head of police.

The man said "now, you two. I know this is hard for you but, even we don't have any evidence against or helping you. The judge is setting it." he took a deep breath "just give us a hint. I know my daughter is a little strict but I am not."

"I'm not strict dad. Anyway, we want something that proves me that you two are innocent. If both defense and prosecutor agrees together, it may be possible to turns the table."

I looked at Ruby and saw that she nodded "You two know that Idol Ai has her family name secret." They nodded. "and you probably have read our profiles."

He said "it says you are Ruby and Aquamarine Hoshino, under Saitou-san and Miyako-san's care."

I nodded and said "can I ask for a pen and a paper."

The woman asked "you can write?"

I said "if you have any connections to entertainment you have to know to write and read after all."

She nodded and gave me a paper and a pen. On it I wrote only one name Ai Hoshino. And gave it to them "please keep this a secret."

They looked at it "oh... so that's why..."

The man said "just to be sure... that knife wasn't yours right?"

I answered "no, but I did use it a way to stop him from killing her... you should already know who killed him and wanted to kill Ai."

The woman got what I meant "you mean that..."

I nodded. she looked down "I'm sorry..." she then raised her head "I will do anything I can for you."

The man suddenly asked a weird question "but why you had metal plate armor?"

I already made a back story for it "it may be funny but... we watched a Hollywood movie that an actress was attacked and killed in it... that certain person who is connected to us would never do that so we decided to do that for her."
