It's been over a week, after the Picnic to the Farmhouse. The family members had gone to some relatives house, while Akshu stayed back. Akshu had a spring in her step as she moved around the kitchen, her heart brimming with joy and anticipation. The past seven months had been a rollercoaster of emotions, but today marked a special milestone in their marriage, and she wanted to make it unforgettable.
As she kneaded the dough for the naan, memories of their journey together flashed through her mind. There were moments of laughter, moments of tears, and moments when they almost lost each other. But they had made it through, stronger and more in love than ever. She smiled, feeling a warm glow inside her chest.
"Today is going to be perfect," she whispered to herself, glancing at the clock. Veer would be home soon, and she needed everything to be ready by then. She had planned every detail meticulously. The garden was already set up with fairy lights twinkling like stars, a table adorned with fresh flowers, and candles waiting to be lit.
Akshu moved on to preparing Veeranshu's favorite dishes: butter chicken, naan, and a creamy mango dessert. She hummed a soft tune as she cooked, her excitement bubbling over. She could already imagine the surprise on Veer's face when he walked into the garden.
She paused for a moment, looking out of the kitchen window at the garden. "He'll love it," she thought, her heart swelling with happiness. "We've come so far, and this is just the beginning."
As she set the table, she remembered their wedding day. The nervousness, the vows they exchanged, and the promise to stand by each other through thick and thin. It felt like a lifetime ago, yet the memories were still fresh.
Finally, everything was ready. The food was steaming hot, the candles were lit, and the garden looked like a scene from a fairy tale. Akshu glanced at the clock again, her excitement reaching its peak. She glanced at her phone, but saw the message she had sent him in the evening that says, "Veeransh, will you come home early, Please!!"
And in the reply she got, "Okay, Sweetheart." Akshu was waiting for him on the dinning table sitting.

On the other side, in the cold, dark basement of the warehouse, Vidyut lay captive, starved, and thirsty for what felt like forever. The air was thick with the awful smell of decay and blood. Vidyut's face was pale, his eyes sunken and empty, showing his hopelessness. Each shallow breath he took was a struggle, a reminder of his weakening strength.
The silence was suddenly broken by the sound of footsteps echoing on the cold concrete floor. Vidyut's breathing quickened with fear as he heard the chilling voice of Veeranshu Singhaniya. This was the voice of his death, his worst nightmare.
Vidyut lay sprawled on the cold ground, weak and trembling. Thin metal wires tightly bound his wrists and ankles, cutting into his skin with every slight movement. The more he struggled, the deeper the wires cut, leaving bleeding wounds. His hands were numb, and his legs felt heavy, the pain from the wires constant.
As Veeranshu's shadow came closer, the basement seemed to grow even colder. The dim light flickered, casting eerie shadows on the walls. Vidyut could hear the distant drip of water, each drop adding to the tension in the room. Veeranshu's presence was overwhelming, making the air feel thick and heavy.
Veeranshu stepped into the dim light, his face cold and unfeeling. "Missed me !!" Veeranshu said walking around the man, who had only wish in his mind - Easy Death. But who are we kidding, he is Veeranshu Singhaniya, who spares no one, if someone hurts his family, and this time it was his Love, his wife, who got hurt. He won't spare Vidyut this easily.
