My date with Luke was less than three days away and I was just now picking out an outfit. Luke and I decided to go to the carnival for a little then go to his house and order pizza and watch a movie. He also wants me to sing him a song which is another thing I need to worry about now, I don't even know what song to sing.
As I'm picking out an outfit I get a text from Luke and my stomach fills with butterflies.
" Hey gorgeous, make sure you wear a bathing suit under your clothes on Saturday".
" Why"?
" we might just go for a little swim :)"
Damn he was cute and the surprises just keep coming.
" Also make sure you don't wear makeup and don't bring money" and only a couples seconds after that text I got another
"Oh and make sure you bring a change of pajamas for when we watch movies :)"
After this list of things I needed and didn't I finally picked out an outfit that I thought would be perfect for this amazing day Luke has planned.

It was the day of the date and I was a nervous mess. What is I sweat too much and smell gross? What if I all the sudden get my period when we are swimming? WHAT IF A SHARK EATS ME? I guess some of my worries weren't as important as others. I decided to just stay calm and don't stress too much. Today was about living in the moment with Luke and that's what I was gonna do.
I put on my outfit and blow dried my hair and put it in a loose ponytail and followed Luke's rule of no make up. I didn't feel very confident without makeup on but I'm sure Luke has a reason why and I should trust him.
I told my mom I was going to the beach with Lauren even though I didn't have to hide it from her but I had a feeling if she knew she would tell ash I didn't want that just yet. Luke texted me telling me he was already there and waiting by the ticket line for me. once I got there he hugged me hello and bought the tickets. I felt bad for having him pay but he insisted and wouldn't let me talk him out of it.
He turned to me and took a good look at me and then just stared into my eyes for a little.
"You look beautiful as always" he said with a little smirk
" You don't look bad yourself. But one question, why couldn't I wear makeup"?
" Because you don't need to wear makeup to look beautiful" he said smiling and grabbing my hand. He locked our fingers together and smiled at me
" Is this okay? I just want to push you I just really wanted to hold your hand". he asked worried.
" Yes Luke it perfect. Now let's go play some games!" I was literally a five year old child when it came to carnivals.
After that he just laughed and we both started running towards some games. The first one we played was a game where you knock down the bottles and if you get them all down you win a prize. I got got 6 out of the 10 and Luke got all ten. He turned to me and asked
"Which do you reckon I get"? Motioning to all the prizes.
"I don't know pick your favorite animal or something" I said laughing.
" How about that huge teddy bear" he asked
"If that makes you happy. Hurry I want to go on the roller coaster!" I said giggling.
"Okay I'll take the big blue teddy bear please" he said turning to the man working the game.
"Sure thing buddy. Here you go" the man smiled.
"Thank you have a good night" luke said smiling at the man.
He then turned to me and said
"Here you go I believe this teddy bear has your name written all over it" he said with a cheeky smile
"Awe Luke you don't have to!" I said even though I really wanted the teddy bear.
"I insist just for you" he said handing it to me.
I immediately grabbed it and hugged it and said thanks to Luke. He was the sweetest guy I have ever met.
"You're so cute. Now how bout that roller coaster and then maybe a little swimming?" He said grabbing my hand again.
"That sounds amazing. But I'LL BEAT YOU TO THE COASTER!" I yelled letting go of his hand and running towards the line.
Of coarse I beat him but it didn't take much for him to finally get there.
"Jesus Christ is I would have known you were gonna make me run I would have worked out today" he said trying to catch his breath.
"Oops maybe I should have told you I'm on the track team" I said laughing.
It was our turn when he finally started breathing normally. I grabbed his hand as we were guided onto the ride. We were sat in the front which made me a little nervous but I loved roller coasters so I just reminded myself that it was ok. They strapped me and Luke in the ride and got everyone else on and set. The operator of the ride gave us a count down before it started as soon as he started Luke turned to me and asked if I was scared.
" No I'm alright" I said smiling at him.
"Okay good because once we reach up the hill right before we go down I dare you to let go of my hand and raise your arms in the air" he said with a smirk.
" alright and if I do it can we watch what ever movie I want at your house"?
"We can do whatever you want if you do it" he laughed
"Alright Hemmings. Game on"
Of coarse when it came up to the hill I raised my arms all the way up and saw the shocked look on Luke's face. It made me laugh a little at the fact that he thought I wouldn't do it. When we got off the ride Luke needed to re adjust his hair because it was looking pretty wild.
"Luke you might want to fix your hair it looks like you just had sex for three hours" I said laughing
"You know what? Shut up" he said laughing back. "Wanna go swimming now before it get dark"?
"Yeah let's go!" I said as I started running towards the sand.
"God dammit not again"! He said yelling which made me laugh.
Once we reached the sand we started taking our clothes off to reveal our bathing suits. Luke locked his hand with mine and we started running to the water. Once we got deep enough he let go of my hand and look over to me and said " well since you have made me do so much running today I think you deserve to be thrown into the water" he said smiling the all the sudden before I could say anything he grabbed be a tossed me lightly into the water. When I got back up I started laughing.
"Okay I guess I deserved that" I said smiling at him and then splashing him with water. This water fight went on for probably like 20 minutes and then we both decided we would just head back to his house.
" Oh god dammit I left my change of clothes at my house. Want to just run by and get it with me? I only live right across the street" I turned to Luke.
" Yeah that's cool. You sure Ashton won't see us"? He said concerned
"No he's hanging out with one of his friends tonight. We'll be fine." I said back
We grabbed out clothes and Luke grabbed my hand and we started walking towards my house. When we got there I ran into the house and told my mom I was sleeping over Lauren's house and just needed to grab some clothes. I said goodbye to her and met Luke outside again and grabbed his hand.
"Okay which way to your house"? I said smiling.
"Just this way" he said grabbing my hand tighter as we started walking.
