The next day, Aurora was making her way to her next class when she felt a hand grab her arm, pulling her into a secluded alcove. Startled, she turned to see Dimitri standing there, a determined look in his eyes.

"Dimitri," she began, but before she could say anything more, he leaned in, capturing her lips in a heated kiss. For a moment, all thoughts of class, of Theo, of anything other than Dimitri, melted away. She wrapped her arms around his neck, deepening the kiss, losing herself in the familiar warmth and comfort he provided.

When they finally pulled apart, Dimitri's expression softened, but there was still something intense in his gaze. "Skip your next class with me," he whispered, his voice a mixture of plea and command. "Let's go somewhere private."

Aurora hesitated for only a second before nodding. She knew she should be focused on her studies, but the way Dimitri was looking at her made it impossible to say no. Without another word, he took her hand and led her to the nearest broom closet, closing the door behind them with a soft click.

Inside, the space was cramped and dark, but it felt safe, like they were in their own little world. Dimitri didn't waste any time, pressing her against the wall and kissing her again, his hands tangling in her hair. But there was something different about the way he was kissing her now something urgent, almost desperate.

When they finally pulled apart, Dimitri didn't move away. Instead, he kept her pinned against the wall, his eyes searching hers. "I need to talk to you about something," he said, his voice low but serious.

Aurora frowned, sensing the shift in his mood. "What's wrong?"

Dimitri took a deep breath, his gaze unwavering. "Last night, at the party... I saw you and Theo. You two looked close."

Aurora's heart skipped a beat, but she kept her expression neutral. "We were just talking," she replied, trying to sound casual. "You know how Theo is. He likes to push boundaries."

Dimitri's eyes narrowed slightly, not fully convinced. "That's not all I saw, Aurora. He was looking at you... differently. Like he wanted more than just to talk."

Aurora felt a knot form in her stomach, but she pushed it down. "You're imagining things, Dimitri. There's nothing going on between me and Theo."

But Dimitri wasn't satisfied. He took a step closer, his hand brushing against her cheek. "Are you sure? Because it looked like there was something else. Like there was something you weren't telling me."

Aurora's breath hitched, her mind racing. She knew Dimitri had seen them talking, but how much had he really picked up on? How much did he suspect?

"I need to get to class," she said suddenly, trying to escape the corner she'd been backed into. She reached for the door handle, but Dimitri was faster. He placed his hand over hers, preventing her from opening it.

"Aurora, just tell me the truth," he insisted, his voice tense. "Is there something going on between you and Theo?"

Aurora shook her head, her expression softening as she reached out to touch his arm. "Dimitri, it was nothing. We were just talking. Theo's a friend, that's all."

Dimitri wasn't convinced. He could feel his jealousy morphing into something darker, something he didn't like. He leaned closer to her, his face inches from hers. "Are you sure?" he asked, his voice low. "Because it didn't look like 'nothing' to me."

Aurora looked into his eyes, seeing the hurt and insecurity there. "I promise, Dimitri," she said softly. "There's nothing going on between me and Theo. I only want to be with you."

For a moment, Dimitri considered her words, trying to push away the nagging doubts in his mind. He leaned in and kissed her, not out of affection, but out of a desperate need to claim her, to convince himself that she was his and only his.

Aurora, caught off guard, kissed him back at first, but as Dimitri's grip on her tightened, she pulled away slightly, sensing something was off. Before Aurora could react, his hands roughly tearing at her clothes. She fought back with everything she had, kicking and thrashing, but his strength was too much. He overpowered her easily, pinning her to the cold floor.

As Dimitri forced himself on her, the world around Aurora seemed to shatter into a thousand pieces. She felt the pain, both physical and emotional, tearing through her, but her mind tried to escape, to go somewhere far away where this wasn't happening. But there was no escape, no way to block out the horror of what was being done to her.

The assault seemed to go on forever, every second an eternity of agony. When it was finally over, he stood up, leaving her broken and bleeding on the floor. He looked down at her, his expression unreadable. He said coldly, "you brought this on yourself."

With that, he turned and left the room, leaving Aurora alone in the darkness.
