Pov Alexia: 

"And who might you be?" Elena Gilbert asks me after she opened the door. I smiled at her trying to come off as friendly as I can. "A friend of Josie, is she here?" I ask.

"She's in her room." Elena stepped aside letting me in. She was kind enough to walk me up to the room Josie is staying in. She knocked on the door before walking in. "Ale?" Josie was visibly surprised to see me, which is totally understandable. 

"I'll leave you girls to it." Josie nodded letting her know it's okay to leave and she did, closing the door behind her as she left. 

"What are you doing here?" She asks me. I shrug as I make my way through the room, I was looking at the pictures she had standing. It was surprising to see how she had settled in in such a short time.

"Why are you here, Alexia? Something's up with you."

I look at her over my shoulder as I keep one of the picture frames in my hand. "What's that supposed to mean?" I ask. 

"We haven't exactly talked in a long time." She reminds me. "Now you're here and you look out off it, I'm not quite sure what it is just yet."

"I know. I'm sorry about that. I never meant for things to happen the way they did... You still mean a lot to me, sunshine, which is why i'm here." I put down the picture frame turning to face her. "This is goodbye."

"What?" She asks me confused.

"I appreciate what you and the school have done for me, you made me feel welcome and loved. You might say i'm crazy for this, but i'm kinda glad Kai Parker is my father, cause it means that the best girl I know is my own cousin. But sadly enough it's time for me to go elsewhere and leave mystic falls behind."

"No. No it's not right, Alexia. You belong here, with us."

"I wish it were up to you, sunshine, but it's not. As long as your dad doesn't want me at the school, I won't return or stay in mystic falls... I told Hope I wanted to leave because of all the bad memories, but the truth is that I can't stand having to stay away from you guys knowing you're so close. It would hurt to much."

"My dad is making a big mistake if he lets you go... I'd hate him if he did." She said with tears falling down her cheeks. 

"Don't say that... You have to be proud of him, love him for all he does for you and Lizzie. There's nothing he wouldn't do for you girls. He's a good dad... Just forgive him, okay? I don't want you to hate him for making me leave."

I sit down on the bed next to her cupping her cheeks to wipe away her tears. "How can you speak of him like that when he's sending you away?" She asks me.

"Because I can only wish I had a father like him... Kai did horrible things to him that caused him so much pain and he's reflecting it on me, which I understand now. I'm the only one alive he can blame for his pain."

There was a silence between us for a bit and I let go of her sitting back as I wait for her to say something. 

"Will you stay the night?"

"huh?"

"Will you stay here tonight? I don't want you to go just yet."

"Okay, i'll stay the night... But you gotta tell me what you've been up too."

We spend the rest of the night talking about her time at mystic falls high school and her now human like life. And at the end of the night we fell asleep with her cuddled up in my arms. 

After saying our last goodbye's I left Elena and Damon's house to go my own way. Except that I didn't really leave just yet. I walked around town for a bit and after I decided to go see Hope one last time. But when I got to the school I noticed most students and Alaric weren't there.
