Spring Fair! - part two

~ kaedes pov ~

Me and maki were walking down the hallway, when all of a sudden i get a quiet tap on my shoulder. It was shuichis slender fingers, he was blushing very hard.

"Hey shuichi! What did you tap me on the shoulders for?"

"I- uh..do you wannagotothespringfairwithme?"

"Woah..woah shuichi your speaking so fast!"

He clears his throat.

"Do you...uh... uhm..wanna go to the spring fair with me?"

"Of course shuichi!"

His face lights up with joy, and he blushes slightly.

It was the day of the fair! Im really excited to see what shuichi is wearing, maybe we could accidentally match? That would be nice. Maki and i walked to the front of the school. We areived super early so that we could go on the best things first, without big lines. Me and maki saw kaito and shuichi from afar, kaito was giving him some sort of...lecture? Or pep talk? I dunno, its kaito we're talking about.

"Hey shuichi!" I had a pink sakura kimono on, it was new so it was all perfect! Shuichi was wearing like...a boys kimono? I forgot what it was called, so I'll just call it a kimono for now.

A/N guys i dont know what a men's kimono is or what its called so please please dont attack me

It was navy blue and black, like his beautiful hair. He wasnt wearing his cap for once, it was nice. His hair was silky, and soft..and shiny...and-

"Hey kaede!" Kaito nudges his shoulder "you look very..very pretty!" He blushed hard, and so did i.

"T-thank you shuichi, you look pretty great too."

We both blushed very hard.

"Are we gonna go in or not? I really wanna try their different foods!" Kaito says. Of course hes the one to talk about food.

"I think we should see what else they have." Maki says. Shes still as scary as she ever was, but more happy.

"Guys i think we should hold hands, so that we dont get separated!" Kaito says, i think he said it on purpose. Obviously.

Maki held kaitos hand, then he held shuichis, and then shuichi held mine. It felt nice, his hands were freezing cold though. I mean, its not like its not out of character for him. What was i saying?

Kaito suddenly saw something and 'accidentally' let go of shuichis hand. And we were just holding eachothers hand. Great. Way to make us very flustered. We hadnt talked much...

"Kaede. I need to tell you something." 

Oh no.

"Do you wanna go to the cafe with kaito and maki? We need to find them."

Ah, i see. I got my hopes up. Again.

~ shuichis pov ~

Ughhhhhh i wish i had no anxiety, i shouldve told her. But what if she doesn't like me back? Arrghhhhhhhhhhhh

"Okay..lets go." I could feel my face heat up, kaede was holding my hand, tight. We eventually found them, and went to a cafe.

"Why...did...you...run..off?" I say, panting. Kaede made me run, by the way.
