The room was very dark. There wasn't much light. The sound of someone sitting down is heard, as a voice says "wow, it's dark in here" suddenly, the lights snap on, revealing Kari in an interrogation room, squinting for a moment saying "Ow! Now it's too bright!" the interrogator of the room, was Rick Dicker. Dicker had been called about the voice messages Kari had sent, and about Syndrome, so he and his agency brought Kari in for questioning. Dicker says "File 82-7-0-2. Agent Rick Dicker interrogating. State your name, please." Kari smiles as she introduces herself "Kari. Kari McKeen. It's like Carrie, only with a K instead of a C, and an "ah" instead of an "a", and only one R, and an I instead of an I-E." Dicker, wanting to get to the details of what happened right away, calmly interrupts by saying "please tell me about the incident" Kari knew what he was talking about, so calmly, she starts off "well, it started out as any normal sitting gig. Ya know, with the reassuring of the parent and all"
It then flashes back Saturday evening, in the Parr's house. Kari was on the phone talking to Helen as Jack-Jack was playing with an orange, the young teenager explains
"You don't have to worry about one single thing, Mrs. Parr. I've got this baby-sitting thing wired. I've taken courses and learned CPR and I got excellent marks and certificates. I also brought Mozart to play while he sleeps to make him smarter because leading experts say Mozart makes babies smarter. And the beauty part is that the babies don't even have to listen 'cause they're asleep! You know, I wish my parents played Mozart when I slept because half the time I don't even know what the heck anyone's talking about." from the other end, Helen's voice is heard as she says "Kari, I really don't feel comfortable with this. Uh, I'll pay you for your trouble, but I'd really rather call a service." Kari reassures her "Oh, there's really no need, Mrs. Parr. I can totally handle anything this baby can dish out." she then coos to Jack Jack "can't i whittle baby? Who can handle it? Who can handle it?" baby Jack Jack babbles at her babysitter, before beeping is heard from the other end, before it hangs up. Worried for a moment, she asks "Mrs. Parr? M-Mrs. Parr?" in the background Jack-Jack starts teething on the orange as Kari smiles, putting the phone up, saying reassuringly "oh well. She knows you're in good hands." before she then turns to the young buy and says "now who's ready for some neurological stimulation?" hearing that, Jack-Jack attention turns to Kari, babbling a "huh?" sound
Cut to some time later, Jack-Jack is now in the living room. Kari places flash cards, a shape sorter toy, and a xylophone. The little infant babbles in confusion as he doesn't know what to do, but then at that moment, Kari puts a CD disk in the CD player, and Mozart's Turkish March plays. Jack-Jack gasps before turning to Kari, as if it was on instinct, a reaction, or if he was entranced. Kari says as she turns to the baby "it's time, for cognitive developm-" however, she is caught off to find Jack-Jack had disappeared. She looks around, before seeing him on the dining room table, squealing as he hides behind a potted plant. Kari smiles as she plays along, saying in a baby voice, Who's the goo-goo baby? Where's the hiding..." but when she picks up the potted plant, Jack-Jack was gone again. Kari is beyond confused, before she heard the sound of the fridge door. She turns, and sees Jack-Jack sitting right in front of the fridge, staring at her as she drinks from his baby bottle.
