It was still crazy to think that three months have passed since what happened with Syndrom. Dicker was able to get the Parrs and MnM their own apartments at a local motel. Sure it wasn't much, but it was the best he could do for them, everyone tried to manage the best they could, and Millie was able to come up with a pretty cool way for them to access their supersuits more easily. But, let's not get ahead of ourselves. Today, everyone was at the Metroville stadium for the Spartan Elementary track race. Dash was pretty excited, because he was finally able to compete. His family was there on the bleachers as the speedster and his competitors were warming up for the race. Millie was happily holding a babbling Jack-Jack as Moxxie had the baby supplies, just in case. But after 3 months, the little guy was becoming quite a handful. He started walking short distances, his teeth were growing in, and he was able to speak two words, them being "mama" and "dada" of course, and they of course waved to Dash, who waved to them
With Violet, she was talking to one of her friends, saying "Do we have to have cheerleaders at the track meet? I mean, what is that all about?" but at that moment, Tony had actually noticed her, and walked up to her. He greats her by saying "hey", which gets her attention. Violet was actually surprised he noticed her, but smiles "hey" back. Tony then smiles, pointing like he recognized her

"you're uh, Violet, right?" Violet then smiles "that's me" Violet's friend knew she didn't want to intrude, so she walks off, saying "see ya Vi" leaving the two be. Tony then ponders "you look, different" Violet was a bit surprised. She sure felt different after the crazy weekend with her family three months back. And she felt pretty proud, saying "i feel different. Is that okay?" Tony then clears his throat, saying "y-yeah. Different is great! Um, w-would you-" Violet then is shocked. Was he asking her out but was too nervous to get a clear sentence out? This was big. Violet blushes big time, knowing full well that just had to be the case. So, she puts her hand to his mouth, smiling "i like movies. I'll buy the popcorn" with that, she heads to where her family was sitting, with Tony nodding "a movie. Yeah. Yeah!" he then turns to Violet, getting her attention by saying "wait, s-so, Friday?" Violet nods "Friday" and with that, she joins her family.
With that, the official heads up to the field, and with a fire of his gun, the races were off! Everyone cheers for the racers as Dash gives them a head start, smiling. He hears his parents and Millie cheering them on, overlapping one another, Bob shouting "Run Dash! RUn! Go Go Go Go!" With Millie shouting "Go Dash-ster! Pick up the pace!" Dash nods, before he speeds up, passing each of the other racers, pretty confident in himself, but then he hears Bob and Moxxie overlapping "Pull Back! Pull Back!/ Slow down! Your gonna get yourself exposed! Slow down!" Dash is a bit confused for a moment, slowing down, letting the other races pass, Bob then shouts "Don't give up! Make it close!" with Helen overlapping "Go for second!" from next to bob, a man just stares at the family with a confused look in his eyes. Dash then catches on with what they were trying to say, and sprints just a bit faster, and when they crossed the finish line, he had made second place. His family cheers, with Moxxie and Millie cheering alongside them. Bob smiles happily "that's my boy!" as down below, Dash gives them all two thumbs up, while all the other racers were phanting from the race. Some time after that, the Parrs and Mays walk out of the track and into the parking lot.
