What Bella said was important, it really wasn't important.
Maybe to her but not me.
I swear she gets on my nerves.
All she did was tell me that she wanted to turn into a vampire to join her lover leech and his family.
But that was two days ago no need for me to get back angry at that.
Tonight I get to join the pack officially.
I invited Taylor to come but she didn't want to be around a pack just yet considering she doesn't have one anymore, which I can understand.
I can't imagine losing not only my pack/family but my imprint to.
I walk out my room the same time as Bella.
I gagged at the smell from her and her room.
She reeks of those leeches she be around all day.
We look at each other but I roll my eyes and go to go downstairs when she grabs my arm making me turn to her.
"What?!" I pull my arm away from her.
"I just wanted to say congratulations." She says and I feel confused for a second.
"For finally joining the pack, Jacob told me." I feel a flare of anger go through me but I close my eyes and take a breath in and out.
I open my eyes and smile at her "thank you, I didn't know you and Jacob was talking considering you have your ugly bloodsucking leech back." I fold my arms.
She fidgets around and looks away from me and then back to me.
"Yeah we're still friends and please don't call Edward that." I chuckle before turning around and walking down the stairs.
"Yea whatever, I do what I feel."
I make it down and go to the kitchen and grab me a water and take me some pain pills for the headache I'm starting to get.
After that I go and grab my jacket off the hook by the door.
I see a note on the little end table in the living room.
I pick it up and see it's from dad saying he was working late.
I'm guessing Bella moved it earlier because dad leaves them in the kitchen.
I throw it down and make my way outside to my bike and start it up.
I smile at the sound it makes but my smile don't last long as I see that ugly ass volo pull up.
Edward gets out and lean against it.
I guess he's waiting for Bella.
"You know maybe she should just drive out to you from now on I'm tired of seeing you around here all ready bad enough your stink is flowing through the house." He glares at me and I glare right back.
What I'm supposed to be scared.
"Don't try me Edwin." I then swing my leg over my bike and ride off to la push.
I make it to Sam's house and Jacob walks out.
I smile as he walks over to me while I get off my bike.
"Hey." He says and we share a kiss.
I pull away and slap him.
"Ow what was that for?!." He asked holding his cheek.
"For telling Bella my business." I move around him and walk up to the house.
"I didn't know it was supposed to be a secret." He walks behind me.
"It isn't but don't mean I want her sharing our business with her group of leeches." I walk inside and share a hug with Emily.
I then sit down as she makes and serves me a plate of food.
"So you're ready to join the most amazing awesome pack ever?!." Embry throws an arm around me and shakes me.
I laugh and push his arm away.
"You keep shaking me and I'mma have to throw you out the door, but the real question is are you lames ready for the best of the best to join the pack tonight." I say and eat some of my food.
"You wish you were that great, ain't better than me." Jared flexes making me laugh.
"Yea ok sit down chicken arms before you get a cramp." The boys laugh as Jacob moves and sit next to me.
"Finally you two kissed and made up." Paul pushes Jake head and Jake hits him.
"Yea mind your business Paul." Jake says wrapping an arm around my shoulder and kissing my cheek.
If I was lighter I'm sure you would see me blush.
Time skip
There was a bonfire lit and the elders were sitting around along with the pack.
I was nervous and excited.
I had tied my hair back so it wouldn't be in my face.
I walk over as everyone is talking.
Billy clears his throat to get everyone's attention.
"Okay guys it's time." He says making the boys and Leah move.
Emily gives me a thumbs up with a smile.
"Step forward child." I move closer to the elders.
Billy is in front.
"Do you Kennedy swan swear to protect and defend these lands and your pack?." I gulp but nod and answer "yes I swear."
"May the spirits help guide you and connect you to your pack. The spirits and the elders give you blessing to fight alongside your brothers and sister." He holds his hands out and I put mine in his.
It's weird but it's like I feel different stronger almost.
Once we release hands I stand.
"Welcome home Kennedy." He says and the pack all cheer.
I share a hug with everyone and kiss Jacob which makes the guys start making jokes and kissing noises at us.
I then get my tribal tattoo the traditional way which took longer than getting it the new way but whatever.
It hurt but it would heal.
Everyone starts eating after the ceremony.
I stand away from everyone watching my new family with a smile on my face.
Leah walks up to me and stand next to me.
"I'm glad you're apart of the pack now." She says and I look at her.
"Why?."
"To much testosterone." She answers making us both laugh.
"I'm sorry you have to be around Sam and Emily all the time." I say and the smile leaves her face
"It's fine it's not like it's your fault at least you got your happy ending." I shake my head at that.
"It's not a happy ending yet more like a beginning or middle because it's been rough." I sigh.
"Well I still say better than what I got going on." I was about to respond when Emily came over and Leah basically ran away.
Emily frowns before she looks at me and smile.
"I'm so happy for you" she hugs me and I nod.
"Thanks em." She looks back at Leah who is sat next to Seth.
"She will come around she just needs time." I say and making her nod.
"Yeah but how much?." Emily then walks away from me before I could respond which I'm glad she did because I didn't know what to say really.
I walk over to Jake and sit next to him.
I can't help the snort that escaped me when I see he's basically inhaling a burger.
"Slow down it's not going anywhere." He rolls his eyes but keep eating.
"I hope Emily and Leah work out there difference's." I say looking back at my friends.
Jacob laughs "yeah right like that will happen, Leah's to angry to even look at Emily."
"I think I should help them." "I wouldn't, there's no point. Leah should just get over it, Sam can't help that he imprinted on Emily and it's not Emily's fault either." Jake stands up.
"I'm going to get some more food."
I roll my eyes.
Of course he says that.
Hopefully now everything gets better.
