NO ONE POV

Enough with xinyu's love stories.

While xinyu on the rooftop, one of her friends woke up late in the morning and late for school.you probably thought that it was Nakyoung right?well you're wrong.

The girl who seems to be the 'teachers favourite' is late to school, well this isn't the first time anyway.

Seoyeon sprinted down the street, her schoolbag flapping wildly against her back. The shrill ringing of the school bell echoed in her ears as she pushed her legs to move faster. It wasn't the first time she’d been late, but today felt particularly disastrous. Her mind raced with excuses she could offer her teacher, but none seemed convincing enough. The traffic light seemed to taunt her as it switched to red just as she approached the crossing.

Panting, Seoyeon finally reached the school gates, her chest heaving as she paused to catch her breath. She glanced at her watch and groaned—late, again. Her stomach knotted with anxiety as she darted through the crowded hallways, each step echoing her rising panic.

As she reached her classroom, she saw the familiar figure of Yooyeon already seated in her desk, her perfect posture and perfectly styled hair a stark contrast to Seoyeon's disheveled appearance. Yooyeon glanced up with a smirk that only deepened the flush of Seoyeon's cheeks.

"Late again, Seoyeon? Shouldn't you be used to this by now?" Yooyeon's voice dripped with sarcasm, loud enough for the entire class to hear.

Seoyeon's temper flared. She slammed her bag onto her desk, the noise drawing the attention of her classmates, who were already grinning in anticipation of another showdown. "Mind your own business, Yooyeon. Not everyone has the luxury of living next door to the school!"

Yooyeon feigned a look of mock concern. "Oh, poor Seoyeon. Always the victim, aren't you? Maybe if you weren't so careless, you wouldn't be in this situation."

The words hit Seoyeon like a slap. Her fists clenched at her sides as she struggled to keep her composure. "At least I don't waste my time sucking up to teachers and pretending to be perfect."

Yooyeon's eyes narrowed, her usual calm demeanour slipping. "You call it pretending, but maybe that's just because you can't stand being second place all the time."

Before Seoyeon could retort, their teacher, Mrs. Park, entered the classroom. She took one look at the two girls and sighed, the weariness in her eyes betraying her frustration. It was a scene she had witnessed far too often.

"Enough, both of you," she said, her voice stern but tired.

"If you put half as much energy into your studies as you do into these pointless arguments, you'd both be top of the class."

Seoyeon bit her lip, the sharpness of the teacher's words cutting through her anger. Yooyeon, however, remained unfazed, her expression cool and detached.

Their classmates exchanged amused glances, clearly entertained by the ongoing rivalry. For them, it was just another episode in the never-ending drama that was Seoyeon and Yooyeon.

Mrs. Park pinched the bridge of her nose, exasperation evident in her tone. "I'm serious. One more outburst from either of you, and you'll be spending your lunch hour cleaning the school grounds."

Seoyeon glanced over at Yooyeon, who was now busy adjusting the items on her desk, seemingly unbothered by the teacher's threat. It only fueled Seoyeon's irritation further, but she forced herself to remain silent.

As Mrs. Park began the lesson, Seoyeon found it hard to focus. The words blurred on the page in front of her, her mind still replaying the exchange with Yooyeon. She hated how easily the other girl got under her skin, how she always managed to stay one step ahead.
