taesan couldn't even pay attention in class, leehan maintained his mind. he didn't understand why the boy was so.. nice to him. taesan couldn't tell if he appreciated the boy or he just annoyed him. taesan didn't do friends, not anymore.

"dongmin!" dongmin's best friend jaehyun called.
"hey jae." dongmin smiled at him.
"guess what!!" jaehyun said.
"hm? what?" dongmin giggled at his friends silliness.
"we have a new student!" jaehyun shouted excitedly.
"really? thats cool." dongmin replied, uninterested in whatever jaehyun was talking about.
"why don't you seem interested?" jaehyun frowned.
"because, i don't need any other friends if i have you." dongmin offered a smile which jaehyun returned.
"you'll always be my bestest friend dongminnie." jaehyun laughed, pulling his dark haired friend to school.
days had passed since the new student had come, and dongmin rarely saw jaehyun anymore. he was always with the new kid.
"oh yeah dongmin is such a freak." jaehyun laughed, dongmin felt his heart sink.
"glad you agree, he looked like a lost cat following you around." another boy laughed.
"wait whats wrong with dongmin?" sungho asked.
"hes a freak, thats whats wrong," jaehyun started," he never leaves me alone, and he goes on about this bullshit that i'm his forever best friend."
"i don't see why hes a freak.." sungho frowned.
"listen just trust me, stay away from him."
"his stupid glasses and his haircut hes so ugly." one other boy laughed, jaehyun joining with him.
dongmin felt his world had been crushed, his best friend, thought he was a ugly freak. these words affected dongmin to the point he tried to change everything about himself. he got rid of his glasses, got a new haircut. he didn't want to feel ugly anymore.
"yo dongmin!" jaehyun calls laughing, but dongmin didn't even spare him a glance. jaehyun ran up to him.
"dongmin..?" jaehyun called," holy shit, you look different." jaehyuns mouth opened ever so slightly, concern filling through his whole body.
jaehyun could tell the difference that dongmin looked at him, no emotion at all, nothing. his stare was empty at jaehyun, it made jaehyun feel sick.
"dongmin..? what happened are you okay?" true worry laced in jaehyuns voice.
"why do you care?" dongmin asked.
"w-what? your my best friend." jaehyun stuttered.
"you were never mine." dongmin scoffed and walked away.
jaehyun felt like he was gonna vomit, the only person who he truly loved was gone, the person jaehyun planned to confess his love to, no longer cared about him.
