The first thing Sophie sees when she's in the bathroom is Ro. Her hair is assembled into messy pigtails, and she's brushing her teeth vigorously. She has a loose tank top and biker shorts on, and Sophie wonders how she found clothes in her size. As soon as she spots Sophie lingering in the doorway, she says, "Hey Blondie!"

"Uh, hi?"

Ro takes the toothbrush out of her mouth, spitting an enormous amount of toothpaste in the sink. She flashes a white toothed smile, "Am I making you uncomfortable Mrs. Sencen?"

Sophie blushes at the nickname, "Uh... no, no. Not making me uncomfortable at all.

"I see you have no problem with the nickname." She adds with a wink.

Arms crawl around Sophie's stomach. Keefe places his chin on her shoulder, glaring at Ro, "Stop cornering my girl."

"Ah! Your girl, that's so cute." Ro squeals. "You know what else was cute? Me being paralyzed and having to watch you two make out in front of me. It was both a blessing and a curse at the same time."

Sophie's cheeks heat again as she places her hands on Keefe's. He turns his head to nuzzle his face in her neck, breathing deeply against her back. "What were you guys talking about earlier?" He murmurs. The sound vibrates against her skin.

"Well..." Ro starts, grinning. "I was talking to Blondie about her new nickname being 'Mrs. Sencen."

Keefe's breath hitches, "R-really?"

Ro raises an eyebrow, smile dropping, "Yeah? You got a problem with that?"

"No. I just..." Keefe trails off, sighing through his nose. Sophie tilts her head back to examine his scrunched up facial features. He looks like he's at war with himself, eyes darting around wildly. She squeezes her hand in reassurance, a silent plea for him to continue. He sighs, "I just... though I would take your last name,"

The last words are so quiet she almost missed them. Sophie's eyes widen in surprise, "You think of stuff like that?"

"Of course I do."

She's quiet for a moment, suddenly extremely grateful Ro has decided to stay silent. Keefe obviously isn't a fan of his last name, and Sophie living with it for the rest of her life would be a constant reminder of how his parents' marriage went. She also likes her last name. It's her last little piece of the Forbidden Cities, other than Ella.

Sophie clears her throat quietly, "'Keefe Foster' has a certain ring to it, don't you think?"

"Really?" He asks quietly. Keefe presses his lips to the side of her neck tenderly, "I like it too. And at least I can keep calling you 'Foster',"

Ro knocks on the counter loudly, reminding them that they aren't alone, "You guys are seriously the cutest. I'm glad you finally came to your senses, Blondie. I was seriously debating telling you myself that Keefe has had a major crush on you for the past 3 years."

Sophie giggles, "I was a little oblivious, I guess."

"A little?" Keefe snorts, "Every sentence that came from my mouth was made to flirt with you."

She sighs, "If I noticed before, everything would have been so much easier..."

"Yes, it would have."

Sophie pulls out of Keefe's arms to turn around and take his face in her hands. His gaze is glued on the ground, expression pained. Her obliviousness really had an effect on him, and she wishes she could go back in time and undo it all. Just so she could kiss him the second they met.

She waits until his gaze meets hers before locking her lips with his. Keefe immediately takes action, pressing her thighs up against the bathroom counter. He puts his hands on either side of her waits, bracing himself. A loud giggle pulls them apart.

Ro is smirking, "Get a room, guys."

"We do have a room, you're just in it." Keefe snaps, cheeks flushed.

She whistles, "Gosh, you've gotten snarky since you came here."

Sandor comes storming into the bathroom, takes one look at Keefe pinning her against the counter, and yells, "Ro! How could you let this happen?"

"Let it happen? I encouraged it!"

"You are an incompetent bodyguard."

"What a burn, Gigantor."

Sandor tears Sophie away from Keefe, dragging her to the living room. "That boy is bad news, Sophie."

She rolls her eyes, "No he's not. He's going to take my last name one day."

I'm actually happy with how this turned out. The one fic I've made that I'm happy about lol
