Lately, everyone living in the hotel room has been incredibly lazy. Ro sleeps on the couch, and sometimes, unfortunately, in the bathtub. She can fall asleep absolutely anywhere.
Sandor takes his job more seriously, guarding doors and checking the rooms before letting Sophie in, but he's still been sitting around much more than he did in the Lost Cities.Keefe and Sophie bought phones, so most of her time is used teaching Keefe how to use it.
"Foster!" Keefe yells from the bedroom. She groans and walks to the room as slow as possible, passing a knocked out Ro on the counter. Sophie cracks the bedroom door open, "What?"
Keefe is laying on the foot of the bed, phone light shining through the darkness of the room. He grins when he sees her. Yesterday, Sophie taught him how to use the camera app. He laughed as he took videos of Sophie tossing popcorn into her mouth, and she has to admit it's adorable how much he cares.
"Foster, Foster! I broke the phone," Keefe tosses the phone to Sophie. She taps on the blank screen repeatedly, revealing a small battery icon, flashing red. He used the phone all night until it died.
She giggles, "It's not broken, Keefe. It's dead."
"That's even worse."
"No, I mean it's out of battery. We need to plug it in so it can recharge, because if you use it too much it will run out of life."
Keefe's eyebrows scrunch together, but he still lets her plug the phone into the charger. "Okay, there. In a few minutes it will wake up again."
"What would I do without you?" Keefe mutters, pulling her in by her waist. Sophie flops on the bed beside him, giggling. She runs a hand through his hair. She just recently figured out how much he loves to have his hair played with, despite how much he says he's the only one allowed to touch it. Sophie's the exception.
Keefe grins, leaning into her hand. Sophie starts to weave his hair into a tiny, delicate, braid. His eyes widen, "Are you braiding my hair right now?"
"Yeah, you got a problem with that?"
"No ma'am."
Keefe sits there, patiently waiting for her to finish braiding. At one point, he grabs the phone from the nightstand and starts taking silly little selfies. In one of them, he snaps a photo of him blowing a kiss to the camera while Sophie plays with his hair.
"You're going to run out of poses to do, Keefe." Sophie scolds.
Keefe tilts the phone toward her, "You do a pose, then."
Sophie brings her head down so her cheek is pressed against his. She snaps a few shots of it, not being able to repress her smiles as Keefe pecks her cheek and forehead.
Sandor walks it to Sophie and Keefe having a full on photoshoot together. Keefe is planting kisses all around her face, laughing.
"What is the meaning of this?" Sandor grits out, walking across the room to grab the phone. Sophie snatches it out of his grasp just before he does and tosses it to Keefe. He runs out of the doorway, Sandor right on his heels, "MR. SENCEN, GIVE THAT TO ME RIGHT NOW!"
"No way, Gigantor. I paid with this with my very own money," Sandor reaches for it again, making Keefe toss the phone above his head and into Sophie's arms. "Good catch, Foster!"
Sophie giggles as they play catch with the phone, a growling Sandor between them.
"What the heck is happening?" Ro screeches from the doorway. Sophie freezes right before she was about to throw the phone to Keefe.
Sandor turns to Ro, "Your charge is being very disrespectful and tossing this device over my head."
Ro nods. "Guys, you are being so immature. Give me the phone, Blondie."
Sophie hands it over, pouting. Ro lets out a loud laugh, tossing the phone to Keefe, "Gigantor in the middle!"
