The morning runs at 5 a.m. had begun again. Sofia would run for five miles every morning and night. Even at Hogwarts she kept that routine. Sometimes she would get funny looks if other students were outside, but it never bothered her. It could be exhausting during certain weeks, but Sofia managed to pull through. She had been doing so well on her running the last few months that she was thinking of increasing the distance another mile or two. It was also very peaceful to run in the early morning. Aside from the early-risers, it was only birds and the rising sun that were awake with her. The morning was Sofia's favorite time of the day, even if she hated having to drag herself out of bed.

When Sofia finished her run 40 minutes later and returned to Weasley's, she went straight for the shower and was relieved to find that it was empty. Sofia could not stand smelling badly, and therefore always showered after her runs. She hated showering twice, but she lotioned a lot, and only washed her hair in the morning to avoid drying out and damaging her hair. Sofia hopped out of the shower went up to her room, shaking the water out of her hair with the towel. She shut the door behind her and hung her towels up after thoroughly drying and got dressed for the day.

The kitchen commotion started, signaling everyone was waking up now. Sofia sprayed her perfume on then went downstairs for breakfast. Her damp hair's cold temperature seeped through her shirt and she shivered as she sat down beside Fred in her seat. "Good morning, Sparky," he said, cutting his pancakes.

"Oh, so you're talking to me again?" she asked, flipping her hair over her shoulder and taking a sip from her water.

Fred blushed and breathed out. "If you'd prefer I didn't, that's fine."

"That's never stopped you before."

Sighing, he shut his mouth and finished breakfast without another word. Hermione sat down with her breakfast and glanced at Sofia. "Sofia, where's your breakfast?"

"I ate this morning," Sofia said. "I woke up and had an apple and a bowl of cereal."

"You're missing out," Ron said, dunking his fork in syrup.

Sofia looked around and laughed half-heartedly. "I'm going to go grab a sweater, I'm a little chilly." She got up and went back upstairs and sat down on her bed. She wasn't really cold, but she didn't feel like being downstairs either.

She ended up staying in her room for a while, mostly pacing back and forth, looking out the window, then walking away, then looking out again as if the view changed.

After a while, Hermione knocked on her door and came in. She had a smile and was wearing a t-shirt with shorts and sneakers. "Hey."

"Hey, how was breakfast?" Sofia asked, running a hand through her hair.

"It was so good," Hermione said with a grin. "We're going on a hike, you're coming right?"

Sofia swallowed and nodded. "Yeah, of course. Just let me put my sneakers on, and grab my water bottle."

"We won't be leaving for another 10 or so minutes, anyway," Hermione said as she headed for the door. She turned around quickly. "Oh, and don't forget a snack to hold you off until we come back for a late lunch."

"Of course."

Sofia filled her water bottle, and put her old sneakers on in case of mud, or anything unpleasant. She also tied up her hair while waiting, since she hated the feeling of hair sticking to the sweat in the back of her neck. It seemed that once again, Fred and George would be coming along on this adventure. Lee had gone home to go back to work, but planned on visiting more often when he could to spend time with them. So, the group trekked toward the mountains, casually chatting, and making many jokes. Sofia swung her water bottle back and forth, wondering what her dad was doing at this moment. She wondered if Evan had been waking him up lately, since it was usually Sofia who did. And when Sofia wasn't around, it was Evan who was hungry.
