I ROLLED MY EYES as draco complained about our previous lesson. "mental, he is. wait till my father hears about this."
the six of us snickered at my brothers words. "oh, draco. you've always been the one for dramatics." pansy commented.
draco scoffed, seeming offended. "that bloody creature was crawling up my face!"
"give over, brother." i nudged him. "it's forgotten. besides, we have the tournament to worry about."
"i'm thinking of competing." lorenzo grinned, and my eyes discreetly widened. "what about you, lads?"
"enzo, mate, you think you can get away with being underage in this thing?" blaise scoffed. "you really are thick."
enzo rolled his eyes and shoved the boy. "shut it, zabini. i want my eternal glory. is that so bad?"
"eternal glory isn't all what it seems, berkshire." i added, hoping to persuade the boy. "the paparazzi will follow you everywhere, trust me."
"malfoy's right." mattheo nodded. "last person who didn't leave me alone was cursed. got on my fucking nerves, they did."
lorenzo scoffed. "we all know you're not the most patient, riddle." he paused. "i, however, happen to be very patient when it comes to my fans."
"lorenzo berkshire and patient don't go well together." pansy rolled her eyes.
the seven of us continued to bicker until we reached the room where the goblet of fire was. we quickly shut up, too invested in seeing who was entering.
we all took a seat on the benches, getting a clear view of everyone who entered their name. the goblet's blue fire and white ring surrounding it illuminated the room, needing no extra lighting.
the students cheered as a boy from durmstrang stepped into the circle and threw a piece of parchment into the goblet. another boy from our older years put his name in.
"come on, cedric! put it in!" the shouting caught our attention, and we averted our eyes to none other than the hufflepuff king himself— cedric diggory.
a charming boy he is, i must say. i'd be devastated if he got chosen.
cedric laughed, shoving the boys away and entering the circle. he entered his name into the goblet and looked around, winking at a group of girls in his year.
"ugh, i'm glad he's trying to rid himself." draco mumbled, rolling his eyes at the hufflepuff boy. i raised my eyebrows at him.
"why's that, draco? afraid he'll overtake you and your reputation?" pansy teased.
"i'm sure that happened a long time ago, pansy." draco elbowed my side. "oi, you dick!" i shoved him away, laughing.
my attention was caught when the weasley twins decided to make an entrance, shouting loudly to gain everyone's attention. "yes!"
everyone began cheering for the two, including me. i scoffed at the weird look from draco. "what? can i not clap for people?"
draco scoffed. "not when they're a weasley, you can't."
"whatever." i mumbled, rolling my eyes at my brother.
i, as well as a lot of other people, found the weasley twins quite funny and nice to be around. i'd only ever talked to them once, as they're in my herbology class, but even then, they were nice, despite us being in rival houses.
