Isabella //I woke up early the next morning. I knew this would probably happen, since I fell asleep before 9 o'clock last night due to how tired I was. I fluttered my eyes open, staring around at the dark room. I felt around for my phone on the bedside table and picked it up to check the time; 07:32. I sighed loudly and placed my phone back down on the small table, burying my head further into the comfy pillows. I pulled the warm covers tightly around my body, thinking I might've even had a chance to fall back asleep due the comfiness.
I laid there for a while, but sleep simply wouldn't come to me. I didn't feel tired, heck I'd slept like a baby throughout the whole night. Knowing I wasn't going to sleep anymore, I removed the covers off of my body, getting up lazily whilst I headed towards my bedroom door. I didn't think my dad would be at work just yet, so I tiptoed down the hall incase he happened to be asleep.
I made my way down the rest of the stairs and headed straight into the kitchen, and right there sat my dad with a cup of coffee and a load of papers he was currently reading.
"Morning dad." I smiled, finally gaining his attention whilst I walked over to him.
"Morning honey, how did you sleep?" My dad questioned, pulling me into a quick hug.
"I slept just fine." I answered, making my way over to the fridge to grab the orange juice. I reached up and grabbed a glass out of the cabinet above the stove, pouring the Orange juice into it.
I took a seat at the counter opposite my dad, taking a sip out of my glass."What are you doing dad?" I questioned curiously, watching him scribble something down in black ink on one of the many papers.
"Just filling out some papers, I want to get them done before tonight." He answered, concentrating on whatever it was he was writing down.
"Tonight? What's tonight?" I questioned curiously, taking another sip out of my glass.
"We've got a dinner to go to tonight with one of my work partners, Andrew." My dad said, finally setting the pen down on the table.
"We?" I questioned, eyebrow raised whilst I stared at my father with a confused glance.
"Yes, we. Your coming too honey." My dad chuckled, grabbing his now empty coffee mug witch he took into the kitchen. Me? Why the hell did I have to go to one of his stupid business diners? I'd never been to one before, so why now?
"Me? Why do I have to go?" I asked, watching as my father finished off rinsing he mug in the sink. He opened the cabinet and put the clean mug away before turning around to answer my question.
"I know you've never been to one before, but Andrew has a son the same age as you, so we agreed on bringing both of you along." My dad answered, walking back over to the table.
"Do you know his name?" I asked, referring to the boy that was supposedly my age.
"Andrew did mention it yesterday, but I've completely forgotten." My dad laughed, causing me to sigh in annoyance.
"What time is the dinner?" I questioned, watching my dad collect the rest of his papers, putting them neatly into his black leather brief case.
"It's at 7:30, so you've got all day to yourself. Right, I need to get going, but I'll be back later on. I love you darling." My dad smiled, kissing my forehead sweetly.
"Okay, love you too dad." I smiled, watching him walk down the hall and straight out of the front door.
Glancing at the clock that hung on the wall in the kitchen, I realized it was only quarter past eight. What the hell do I do to entertain myself for the rest of the day now? I didn't have any of the boys numbers, so that idea wouldn't work. Why wouldn't one of them just text already? I have no way of communicating with the four idiots until they do; so I guess I'll have to entertain myself.
