Obanai: age 16

Sanemi: age 16

Obanai was always called the weird kid because of his facial scar which he covers behind a white mask one of his bullies name was Sanemi Shinazugawa he would push him around and take his stuff

Today was no different...

Obanai was just trying to mind his own business when he gets to his first class of the day he goes to his desk at the back and it had writing all over it saying "Freak" "Loser" "mask freak" "snake boy" etc he just puts down his bag and sits down and fidgets with the sleeves of his hoodie when he hears something. "What's up mask freak" it was Sanemi he just keeps his head down not trying to ingage in conversation which would end up with Sanemi just making fun of him                           Sanemi says "what's the matter freak cat got your tongue" obanai ignores him and the teacher starts the lesson...

At lunch obanai sits in the bathroom eating and he looks at the bandages on his wrists he takes them off and sees that the cuts had scabbed so he could cut again                                                                   He takes out his box cutter and starts cutting again he puts 23 on his left and 26 on his right he takes his bandage out of his bag and puts it over his cuts...he slowly rolls down his sweatpants to look at the cuts on his inner thighs they were very recent so he couldn't cut again but he just tightened the bandages and pulls back up his pants before packing away his stuff and going to his next class...

After school and at the Rengoku house hold(Obanai was adopted by them when he was 8 and lived there ever since)

He was in his room looking at his thighs and how big he thought they were he looks through his drawers and finds the tape he starts wrapping it around his thighs making it tight and looks at himself again seeing that the tape makes his thighs look smaller when wearing pants then someone calls him from downstairs "Obanai dinners ready!!" It was Kyojuro..Obanai pulls up his pants and hides all of the evidence of what he had just done and goes downstairs to where Kyojuro was sitting at the table and Ruka was Standing in the kitchen Shinjuro was on a business trip and senjuro was out on a play date with his friends from school..Obanai sits down and starts eating...Then ruka speaks "so boys how was school today?" Kyojuro answers with his mouth full with food "good!" Ruka chuckles to herself "that's good to hear,and what about you obanai" he looks up from his plate "school was fine" obanai says then continues eating. "That's good to hear" ruka says. "UMAI!" Kyojuro shouts with his mouth half full of food. "Kyojuro don't yell with your mouth full" ruka says "Sorry mom!" Kyojuro says. "Can I have seconds!?" Kyojuro says "have you finished yours" ruka says "mhm!" He excitedly mumbles "okay then, here" she puts more food on his plate "what about you obanai do you want seconds?" Ruka says to obanai "No thanks I'm full" Obanai says "Are you sure?" Ruka asked "I'm sure" obanai says "okay the you can go up to your room while I clean" Obanai nods and walks up to his room and closed the door behind him... he flops down onto his bed and burying his face into one of his pillows and cry's just hating his life more than anything after he stops crying he gets up and goes to the bathroom connected to his room he looks in the mirror and washes his face with water and soap he then gets into the shower to wash his body..after the shower he gets into a oversized hoodie and sweatpants he then gets into bed and scrolls through TikTok..he thinks about why Sanemi didn't bother him as much as he normally does but he can't complain it was kinda nice being left alone for once...

{~Sanemi POV~}

Sanemi woke up that morning just feeling horrible about being rude to obanai and bullying him so he decided that today he would attempt to be nice to obanai today...he gets ready and heads off to school he gets to his class early and sees obanais desk is dirty with all the writing so he cleans it off the best he could before obanai came to class...That day Sanemi sat with obanai at lunch and talked to him and was actually nice until... he woke up...it was all a dream he gets up and gets ready for the day before slipping on his shoes and leaving the house he walks to the graveyard and walks to obanais grave(Context: the day obanai saw all the rude things on his desk was the day he killed himself that night he had hung himself taht night and ruka found his body the next morning) "It's been a year now since you died I know I say this every time but I really do miss you and I'm sorry for how I treated you in the past I know i don't deserve to be talking to you right now but I can't help but feel like I don't deserve to be here anymore,I had a dream about you last night,I really miss you obanai" Sanemi says trying to hold back tears "I'll be back to see you tomorrow okay..." sanemi gets up and walks out of the grave yard then BAM! That day Was the day Sanemi Shinazugawa died by getting hit by a bus...
