The Argument

Divya and Kannan are working in a software company in India. Kannan is a team lead and Divya joined recently as fresher. Both are completely different personalities. Kannan is friendly, social, funny, witty and easy to mingle with kind of person whereas Divya is reserved, introverted and shy girl who takes her sweet time to make friends. She has small closely knit friends.
On this rainy day, Divya got down from the company bus.  There is only one umbrella left in the stand. She needs it as she has to walk some distance from bus stand to her building. Her company has a big campus with a lots of buildings. When she came close  the umbrella stand, another hand took it. When Kannan turned around he saw Divya near him, obviously she was there for the umbrella too. He got his opportunity for a conversation. "Oh sorry! Please take it.I can run quickly.", kannan said with a smile. "No thanks ", Said Divya. She started walking away swiftly. It was like she already knew him and extremely angry with him kind of gesture. Kannan stood there fretted.
He went behind her and asked, "have met already?" He covered her with his umbrella. She moved away from him and started walking fast. "That's strange, at least fill me in. What did I do ? kannan asked confused. "I have heard you speaking with others about women. I don't need a help from a man who thinks women are weak and a liability. In fact I hate those men. You don't like to recruit women in your team right ? You better have the same stand in life too", she finished furiously. Even the rain stopped in shock, so does Kannan.
