Bright gulped nervously. He couldn't help but looked back and forth between his friends, Pavel and Billkin.
"What are you waiting for, Bright. Go and lie down on that bed." Pavel commanded and smirked.
"I don't think I want to proceed with this mission, Pavel." Bright took a step back when he saw what was in Billkin's hands.
"Are you chicken out, Bright? I thought, you're willing to sacrifice everything you can just to get a chance to confess to Joss." Billkin scoffed. "If you want to achieve your goal, you need to do as we say. Just lie down, dude."
"I...I can't..Too scared..."
"We've spent so much to make this work, please don't tell me you want to abort your mission. This is not like you." Pavel added, hoping that Bright would change his mind.
"I didn't know you guys will go such length just to help me confess." Bright swallowed panicky.
"Do you really want to confess your unconditional love to him?" Asked Billkin as he gestured Pavel to block the bedroom door, just in case Bright would try to flee the room.
"Of course I do." Bright retorted.
"Then, what is stopping you?" Pavel cut off.
Bright huffed sadly. "I don't know okay...I just wish I can simply go to him and confess. But..."
"You don't even know that he is into men, am I right?" Billkin completed his sentence.
"Sort of..." Bright grimaced. "But I still want to confess, so I can let go of this feeling. I hate having this one-sided love. It hurts too much. But...at the same time, I'm scared if he knows I love him, he will sever our friendship."
"Then, this is the best option, Bright. He won't know it's you, and you still get to confess." Billkin said with a soft smile spreading on his face. "We are trying to help. So, let's just get over this, before we move to the next step. We don't have much time. You need to be at the field to wish him happy new year, relay those three words and seal it with a kiss. And look at the time now. We have less than four hours to get you ready on time."
