"And we'll stick you here," Newt placed the new augurey opposite Frank. It hopped onto the perch and began preening itself.
I peaked out beneath Frank's wing. It had been a whole day and Newt had no clue I was there. He turned around check on Frank. Frank sat uncomfortably he couldn't lie to save his life. Or mine. When we release him he's gonna have to sit on his future eggs and how was I any different to a thunderbird egg?
"What have you got there Frank?" Newt asked crossing his arms. He lifted up is wing and Newt was angry to see me. "What did I say?"
"I couldn't come," I said quietly. "But you were gone too long last time and I didn't want to go to Hogwarts again."
"Raven... come here" he sighed. I walked over to the edge of Frank's habitat and sat on the edge. "Look it's too late to turn back now so there's going to be some rules for you to follow. Firstly, you'll have to stay in the case for the journeys because I only got one ticket," I glared at him. He knew I didn't like being in here. "Then you need to stay as a girl when you're out of the case, dragons don't belong in cities or places with lots of people. Thirdly, you must do as I say, people don't like shapeshifters if they find out what you are they will hurt you."
"I don't want to do any of that!" I protested.
"Raven, you follow my rules or you'll stay in the case the whole trip," he said sternly. I crossed my arms. "Fine." I glared. "I'll follow your stupid rules."
"That's my little beast," he smiled and ruffled my hair. "Do you wanna feed Frank then?"
"Yess!" I cheered.
