(2nd person POV)

"I think I did good!" A pink girl smiled, speaking to the class as everyone sat in their seats.

You had a fine run of tests. Some were a little sloppy, like rock climbing, but others were pretty good with your quirk.

Though, it was that boy..

Katsuki sat in his seat, his legs crossed over as his feet rested on his desk, "Hmph, none of you did better than me." He stated with a smug smirk, which quickly got wiped off his face when a green haired boy spoke.

"I think you did good, just like everyone else, Kacchan.!" He smiled, but waved his hands in the air defensively when Katsuki started making explosions from his palms, glaring at the green haired boy and shouting, "SHUT THE HELL UP, DEKU, I DONT NEED Y-"

Just then, Aizawa walked in, "Everyone, settle down. Your scores have been finalized.."

The board showed a list 1-21.
1- Momo Yaoyorozu
2-  Shoto Todoroki
3- Katsuki Bakugo
4- Tenya Iida
5- Y/N L/N

Once you found your name, your eyes shifted down to whoever got in last.

21- Izuku Midoriya

You thought for a moment. Izuku Midoriya..? Hold up, isn't that the kid who did the big punch on the robot that didn't even give points but still got in?

"...Midoriya?-" You slowly speak, narrowing your eyes at the scores. Well, you barely knew the kid, but sucks for him that he's getting expelle-

"And I was lying. No one's going home. You all passed, go inside and change. Get the syllabus from the classroom."

The fuck?

No way. This dude made you work your ass off and made you worry ten times more than you should've. And he just goes and- says he was LYING? And walked away CASUALLY?

"Oh, you guys didn't know.? I thought it was obvious. I should have told you guys, I'm sorry." A tall, black haired girl said. She was too pretty for you to be mad at her words that made you feel stupid.

After everyone finished changing, you decided to try and make conversation. Y'know, even if you may not be best at talking to strangers, in a few weeks they'll be more familiar.

"Hey! You're.. Uraraka? Right?" You asked, blinking at a brown haired girl as she smiled warmly, her pink cheeks more noticeable.

"Yeah! You're L/N?" She guessed.

"Mhm! Your throw in the exam was cool." You say, attempting to be friendly.

"Aw.. thanks, but it's not all that impressive.! I just changed its gravity!" Uraraka said, waving her hands in front of her, eyes closed with her head tilted slightly to the side as if she didn't want the attention on her. "Though, your Quirk is amazing!"

You smile a bit sheepishly, standing straight while fake dusting off your skirt, just to have a reason to fidget for a moment. "Oh- thank you..." You say, although her compliment still lingered in your mind, your eyes trailed to see the familiar green haired boy. Midoriya, you remembered. He looked relieved, but a bit nervous still. You don't blame him- he almost got expelled on the first day of U.A Highschool , not a good reputation to have.

Though, what was left in your thoughts was All might. You caught him in the corner of your eye when everyone was leaving the grounds to go change back into their uniforms, hiding behind the corner and watching. His gaze -although hard to tell due to his eyes- looked almost like it was towards Midoriya. Why? You had no clue, only guess was that Midoriya possibly met All Might before this day, and they maybe got close? But, then again, All might might've just been judging the poor boy because his Quirk breaks his bones. Who knows.

"L/N?" A voice snapped you back from your thoughts.

"A-Ah. Sorry, Uraraka. You were saying?" You quickly answer, rubbing the back of your head, subconsciously brushing your fingers through your hair, a but awkwardly.

"Hehe! Thats alright!" She said, her smile appearing again. Wow, was she nice and bubbly. "Wanna walk home with me?" She asked, placing a finger on her cheek to gesture towards herself.

You're both walking outside after grabbing the syllabus in the class and our bags. You watch Uraraka glance towards a tall boy in glasses speaking to a green haired boy, excitedly walking over to the two and waving, you following right behind her.

"Hey! Wait up, you two!" She said with a wide grin, both of you making it to your guys' two other classmates. "Are you going to the station? I'll join you guys!"

Iida and Midoriya both recognize her as the 'infinity girl' who got a lot on the softball throwing exam, which, you technically did too earlier. "And you're the fast one!" The one with glasses said to you.

"I'm Ochaco Uraraka!" She greeted herself, you doing the same as well. A bit more nervously than she did. "Lets see.. you are Tenya Iida.. and you are.." She looked at the greenette, "Deku, right?"

Though, to both of your surprise, Midoriya flinched a bit and repeated the nickname.

"Uhh.. isn't that what Bakugo called you?" She asked, a bit confused.

"Is that not your name?" You basically asked the same question, tilting your head a bit.

"During the fitness test he said.." and all four of you kind of remembered what he said.

"DEKU YOU BASTARD!"

"Uh.. Well.!" Midoriya got a bit embarrassed, cheeks a bright pink, and only growing bigger as he spoke on. "My name's really Izuku... Deku's what Kacchan calls me to make fun of me." Kacchan?

"Thats unsportsmanlike.." Iida firmly said. Huh, guess in this situation it's okay to judge a book by its cover. He looks super smart and formal, even acts and sounds like it too!

"Oh.." You say, shrugging in pity.

"Oh, ah! Sorry.. I didn't know.!" Uraraka said, voice a bit quieter as she rubbed the back of her head. "But you know what? I like 'Deku'!" She randomly said, smile appearing back on her face.

Huh? She likes the nickname that is literally calling Midoriya 'useless'?

"It could make a great hero name!" Wait. She kind of has a point. "Plus, I think it sounds kinda cute!" Weeell I don't know about that. But sure.

Well, even if Uraraka was just trying to be nice.. Midoriya was a bright red, nervous mess. "Deku it is!" What a change in attitude!

"Just like that?" Iida said, basically stealing the words right out of your mouth.

"Well, if you put it like that, Uraraka, I agree! 'Deku' could definitely be seen in the news!" You smile, looking up and imagining it, " 'Deku, the number one hero just saved another citizen again!'."

You four walk down the sidewalk, walking to the station. There was where you and the others split up, waving bye. You walked to your house, unlocking it with your house key and immediately flopping onto your bed after walking to your room. You made it through your first day of U.A. Highschool...
You made friends!
