Closed Doors

Kuroo leaned back in his chair, the soft glow of his laptop screen brightening his face in the dim light of his apartment.

The familiar routine of checking his OnlyFans account was something he did almost mindlessly now monitoring his status, replying to messages, and editing videos.

As he scrolled through the latest comments and notifications, his mind wandered, and the image of you flashed in his thoughts.

The way you had gotten riled up earlier, the way your eyes had narrowed at him in playful irritation, your lips curling into that cute little frown...it was a sight he found himself replaying more often than he'd like to admit. Damn, she looked so cute.

He let out a low chuckle, his fingers hovering over the keyboard as he stared blankly at the screen.

There was something about you that got under his skin, something that made him want to tease you just to see how you'd react. But as much as he enjoyed pushing your buttons, a fear that if he let you in too close, you'd discover the side of him.

Kuroo's expression darkened slightly as he leaned forward, elbows resting on the desk, his hands coming up to rub his temples. He liked you and there was no denying that.

But liking you came with complications, If you found out about his OnlyFans account, about the things he did behind closed doors, what would she think?

He had carefully hidden this double life, maintaining a clear line between the professional, charismatic man everyone saw and making money in ways most people wouldn't approve of.

He could keep things as they were like you know tease you, flirt with you, but never let it go further. But the idea of keeping you at arm's length didn't sit well with him. There was a part of him that wanted more, that wanted to see where things could go with you.

...How will I do that if I don't want her to know the truth about me?

You were different, someone he could see himself caring about, and that made things complicated.

He leaned back in his chair, letting out a slow, frustrated breath. He had always been good at balancing things, at keeping his lives separate. But this... this was different. This was complicated. Sigh.
