This is the last Disney movie Sterling Holloway and Sebastian Cabot were in.

Sterling Holloway retired after the movie was released, but still lived long enough to accept his award as a Disney legend. 

Sebastian Cabot had stroke and died five months after the movie was released. So this wasn't just his last Disney film. It was his last film at all.

And technically, it's Bruce Reitherman's last Disney movie too because it was released after The Jungle Book. 

As a whole, that is. The short film came before. 

It's also the last Disney movie of Junius Matthews and Barbara Luddy, as they died after the release too. Their deaths were only one year apart.
