Eeyore's a storyman

Sometimes, Walt's crew got involved in the casting. 

Ralph Wright was one of the story men and he had a gravelly deep voice that was clearly good enough to sound gloomy.

The rest of the crew wanted Ralph to do the voice for Eeyore, and he did. 

The way X. Atencio described his voice implied that Ralph was using his normal voice when recording it.
