Diego took me away, "come on- why don't we go get a drink?" He suggested we went to his car.

I stared out the window; while he was talking, I felt like I couldn't think properly, "are you even listening?" He asked.

I didn't respond he stopped the car immediately, I almost slammed my head on the dash board. "What the hell Diego?" He got out after parking, there was sirens blaring.

I got out following him, there was a crime scene tape around the Doughnut shop. What the hell is happening?? I looked around, I remember going here with Five all the time.

One after another?? A old women was standing by herself Diego, pulled me with him. "Diego!" I groaned. "Another one bites the dust" I comment sighing looking at the scene before me.

"Hey-? I'm detective Diego Hargreeves"  Diego started I rolled my eyes, "This is Detective- Y/n Hargreeves we're going to start a few questions-" he started rambling.

The women said apparently there was a boy, around my age and an older guy that had left and she heard gun shots.

"That's all?" I asked pinching the bridge of my nose knowing who it was. She nodded, "do you guys have a- a badge?" "Is that necessary?" Diego asked dragging me with him.

"Diego!" I said trying to get his attention.
We walked around the crime scene; I seen dead bodies, laying around either stabbed or other major wounds, i felt disgusted.

Diego continued to pull me- like I was his pet, he brought me through the side doors.

"Shit- hang on, let me-" he started, I looked seeing a women, that we both recognized very well. She tased him until he collapsed, she looked at me. I put my hands up for surrender.

"I wasn't apart of this-" I mentioned. "You usually are" she eyed me.

I crossed my arms, "not this time, not anymore." She nodded picking Diego up and hand cuffing him.

I was tired of following Diego around like some pet, "You don't talk to my witnesses, understand?" Detective Patch asked him. "Let me catch you up to speed, Eudora" "don't call me that" I followed them behind slowly.

"Right, Detective Patch, what are we gonna keep things professional?" Diego asked.

"Hey Diego!, Y/n!" Someone called, I turned my head to look while walking. I didn't see -who was calling for us, "I don't know we ever agreed on much" "we agreed on some things"

"Yeah, that was until" she looked at me. I was confused and he looked away as if he's been caught.

"I'm confiscating this" she took a radio that she found in his pocket.

Diego continued, "Military surplus, practically giving them away." He mentioned.

"And this" Patch found more things to take.
"No skin, super cheap, bought it on eBay" I rolled my eyes.

"Why is she being let go?" Diego said jealous. "Because I actually trust her" Patch replied.

I smirked slightly to myself, "That you can keep" Patch said taking out something, I couldn't see.

"You used to like that" he flirted. "Not anymore. Besides you have someone else and it's always been someone else" Patch reminded looking my way.

I was confused what is she talking about? Someone else? Did they have a thing- I didn't know about? Does Diego like someone?

"By the way this thing might look like a botched robbery, but my guts telling me something else is going on here. Look- the waitress she mentioned that Ishmaels, Tow truck guy. Maybe- they saw something." Diego said reminding about the murder that just happened before this.

"You're not police, Diego. Remember?" Patch reminded.

"Yeah. I know. But- she was" Diego mentioned looking at me. I looked away, while Patch shoved him In the cop car. "Are you going to bail him out again?" Patch asked me.

I sighed, "I'll think about it" I smiled.
"What- think about it?-" Diego was cut off when the door was closed in his face. I snickered, the cop drove him away.

Patch and I walked, "did you and him have a past?" I asked suddenly. "I hate to admit it- but he liked me and at one point I did too. But I think he only used me to get his mind off- someone else" she commented before leaving.

I stood there watching her leave.
