AN: A bit late.
Note 1:
As an AST member I have been assigned to guard the forest in which the "Operator" made her home. However, she stopped showing up a couple of weeks ago. I know she is not dead because I can still feel her presence. She is alive and recovering. The higher ups know this too, that is why we are stuck out here after school every day. I hope it takes forever for her to recover. The brutality of her attacks still haunts my dreams to this day. I feel the cold dread of her presence following me everywhere I go. The forest seems peaceful recently...

Shido was staring at the black inky blood. He could not get the image out of his head. It was too much blood for anyone to lose without dying but the body was gone. This had to be the remnants of the "Operator" this meant that the AST was very close to killing her. Whether this was a good or bad thing was left to be seen. He looked around for the puppet trying to find a trace of where it might have gone. However, the warehouse was just full of broken furniture, and other things that were in storage. Yoshino herself was also looking for Yoshinon the puppet. It took up half the day before Shido decided to call it quits.

Murphy was currently having the most confusing time of her life. Last night, Junko had fished her up from the warehouse and rolled her onto a cart that she pushed all the way back home. The ride was definitely uncomfortable considering her near death state, but she did not have the energy to voice her complaints. Junko could not get her up the stairs so instead Junko put her in the spare bedroom downstairs.
Once there Junko verbally berated her about being careless and almost dying as she helped treat her wounds. It was a more humiliating experience than last time because of her lack of mobility. However, Murphy was not dead and that is a plus in her book. The confusion began this morning. She was lying in bed staring up at the ceiling in total and complete agony when suddenly she felt better. The pain subsided to a slight dull annoyance. Murphy knew better than to get up and let more of her strange blood leak out of her body. However, the fact that this was not the first time this happened made her a bit curious.
"What is causing this strange pattern?" Murphy thought to herself. "If I can understand it, I might be able to utilize it to help myself." She murmured softly to herself.
She remained there looking up at the ceiling. She will just wait and ponder. This world was really weird. She did not take the time to think about it before, but it was true. Why were these things called Spirits flying around destroying things? How did the military develop the technology for mech suits? It was just so strange. Then it hit her. She was in a civilized society; she was not in the middle of imploding America. She guessed the years of survival in the woods had changed her mentality.
"I probably should not take any overt actions against the AST anymore anyways. They are technically law enforcement." Murphy thought to herself reminiscing on her past life. "As long as they don't mess with me, I don't have to interact with them."
Murphy frowned a bit at her last thought before, making an amendment to her plan on not attacking the AST. She would have to kill the one that came so close to killing her on multiple occasions. After that she would consider the score settled.
Hours went by as she waited for something interesting to stimulate her senses. That is when Junko came into the room to give her lunch. It was something simple she had bought bread from the local bakery. This was an intelligent move since anything else would have made a mess.
