FOUR Days of Pain

The next week, Shinso and I kept a routine, we met before seeing Mirko in the afternoon and trained all morning, I'd send more testosterone into our bodies each day. Going on patrol with Mirko was a tough job, especially because of the rhythm she had, she went extra fast, wouldn't wait, and would act by herself. On the second day, she got rid of this big-ass villain with just one kick.

Y/N: (To SHINSO) I feel so useless here.

SHINSO: Same.

MIRKO: (To SHINSO) Boy, you scan the area for more bad guys. (To Y/N) You, come here and get him to stop trying to get away!

SHINSO: (Going the opposite way) You think she'll ever learn our names?

Y/N: (Walking towards the guy) I wouldn't count on it. (Pushes a hand inside his head) Sleep.

MIRKO: (Moves her ears, pushes Y/N to the ground) Get down, Shinso!!

I cross my arms in front of my face and protect Mirko.

MIRKO: (Grabbing her from her suit and pulling her to the ground) I said get down, dammit!

She stands up and jump towards an ugly villain that looks like a prehistoric man. He yells which causes the ground to shake. I grab the bigger villain and run towards Shinso, pulling him up and running off. I push my hands into the villain's head again trying to look for this prehistoric man in his memories. Villain Caveman...Couple of offenses to the law...criminal...Primal Roar...that's his quirk? 

Y/N: (Out loud) Sleep!! Shinso?

SHINSO: (Running towards them) On it.

Caveman roars even louder, causing Mirko to fly in his opposite direction, she stands on both feet and jumps back towards Caveman.

MIRKO: (Watching SHINSO, spinning around to land a kick) He won't talk, kid! He's just a screamer!!!

Caveman swings a bat at her, she breaks it in half and kicks his face, digging him into the ground, she jumps again to land another hit but he screams again and sends her even further this time. Caveman turns at Shinso, who stands there, I run towards him and before I can reach him, Caveman sends us both flying back, Shinso crushing one of my ribs, but I heal quickly.

Y/N: Are you okay?

SHINSO: Yeah, you softened my landing.

Y/N: (Scoffs) You're welcome.

SHINSO: I think he can talk. 

Y/N: He's a Caveman, dude, he can probably talk just not languages.

Shinso closes his fists, probably thinking about something.

Y/N: (Running towards CAVEMAN) Try making him talk!

SHINSO: (Running after her) Right behind you! (To the CAVEMAN, jumping from side to side, avoiding his screams) You make any of those paintings in the caves long long ago?

Another roar, Mirko comes out of nowhere and pushes the CAVEMAN deeper into the ground with both her feet. The CAVEMAN has brute force, he grabs her ankle and spins her around into a building, she stands right back up and kicks him again, but he yells and throws her away, he turns to me before I can reach his face, and throws me into a car. I huff.

SHINSO: Tell me, you're a villain because you don't understand the difference between good and bag, right? Monkey see, monkey do?

CAVEMAN: (Leans head to a side) Monkey?

SHINSO: (Smiles creepily) Yes.

He makes the Caveman drop to the ground and hold his wrists up. Mirko hops towards me and grabs me.
