Love Can Hurt

In the morning, I woke up after Aurora. She seemed prepared for her presentation despite the rush. I drove her to the office building and told her I would wait to speak to Simon after. I might have lied, while the meeting was going on, I went to the cafe to meet up with Miles.

I arrived and scanned the tables in search of him. There he was, his brown fluffy hair complimenting her green eyes reflecting off the sun. He is so charming.

' I take my seat across from him and he flashes a smile at me.

"Hi," I said awkwardly.

"Hey, How have you been?" He asks me.

"I have been fine, I missed you a lot" I tell him

"I know, we barely got to hang out since I moved" He spoke.

"I got you something, Here" He says

He gives me a box with a white ribbon. I open the box to see a necklace with my name and a half of a heart.

"It's matching mine" He tells me while taking his necklace out of his shirt revealing his necklace which had his name and the other half of the heart.

My love for him just grew. I could tell he loved me too. We spoke some more and agreed to meet up again. At some point in the conversation, I checked the time and realised the meeting was supposed to be over by now.

Miles walks me to my car outside. Something comes over me. I tiptoe and plant a kiss on his cheek. I hopped in my car and said goodbye. I left him standing there, most likely appalled.

Time to deal with the pain in my brain.
