THESE PAST FEW DAYS I HAD FOUND MYSELF INDULGED INTO CHASE ATLANTICS MUSIC. I had started off with the ones that Sydney had originally mentioned to me then I went on to ones that I had discovered on my own.

Sometimes Sydney puts their songs on her insta notes and surely enough, those ones make their way to my playlist along with all the others. Nothing compared to august though, knowing it was Sydneys favourite just made it extra special. 

It was upsetting it was unreleased. Instead of being able to add it to my playlist I had to listen to it on youtube through a lyric video that had been posted by some aesthetic lyric video account a few years ago.

I was currently sitting at a family dinner, one airpod in my right ear listening to another song Sydney had recommended to me through text. Sure some of the lyrics were questionable but Sydney knows all of their hidden gems 'Angels' was the latest one she had put me onto.

"Walker?" My sister Leena rips my airpod out my ear and places it onto the table.

"Sorry but are you even listening?" She asks me gesturing to our parents before looking back down at her menu.

"What do you want to eat Walker, we're about to go order" My father asks as I quickly scan through the menu, I ended up going with chicken tenders as it was one of the first things I spotted on the colourful paper. 

I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket as my dad nods his head and walks away with my mom. I pick it up and noticed Sydney had replied to my message from earlier and I smile, going to answer her before my younger brother decides to be nosy.

"Ooo who are you texting?" He leans over my shoulder as I swipe up to start texting.

"Oh it's that Sydney girl, can you ask her if Milo wants to play fortnite with me?" I lightly shove him off of my shoulder, laughing at his question.

"Yeah yeah whatever" I say as I finally start my message.
