Here we go again.

E- go out

T-is that okay with you Lucy

L-yeah that's fine I'm okay with whatever but i will need to go home and change because i can't go out in this she says looking down at her leggings and a jumper

T- yeah that's fine we'll come pick you up how long do you reckon you'll need

L- not even an hour just text me when your five minutes away and i'll make sure I'm ready

T- sounds good i reply looking to Ellie who gives Lucy a quick hug before I walk her to the door and say goodbye

T-do you want to go get changed too because I'm going to

E- yeah uh I'll go get changed now she says as she follows me up the stairs and turns to go to her room

When I make into my room I am desperately searching for a nice shirt and jeans it's been ages since I've gone out and I don't know where I'll left my nice stuff but eventually I find some nice jeans and a shirt and put it on

I make my way downstairs settling into the sofa and calling up to Ellie to see if she's nearly ready

T-Ellie honey you nearly ready

E- yep just need to put on my shoes she says as she quickly runs down the hall to where we keep all the shoes and she pulls on her shoes as I look at the outfit she's put on,

She looks beautiful just like always I look over at her struggling to see all the imperfections she always talks about having. I quickly send Lucy a text to let her know we're on her way because it's easier then doing it when we're five minutes away.

E- I like your outfit Dad, she says to me

T- and you look as beautiful as always I say kissing her head as I let go she lifts her bag up and quickly makes her way out the door and into the backseat.

T-so your leaving me to look like your taxi driver

E-well duh cause otherwise where's Lucy going to sit she says as she pulls her phone out

I get into the driver's seat turning on the radio and I start driving to Lucy's house.

When we arrive at Lucy's house I pull up in front of it pulling out my phone and messaging her that we're here but to take her time as there's no rush. The next second I here the door open and see Lucy come out.

My mouth opens and Ellie giggles noticing this and leans forward closing it.

E-tell her she says in a whisper into my ear as Lucy gets closer

I immediately know what she's talking about because wow she looks so pretty in this light and outfit just everything about her. I see Ellie giggling and quickly typing something in to her phone. I quickly straighten up as Lucy opens the door.

L-hey

E-hey Lucy, you look very pretty she says emphasizing the word pretty

T-yeah you look gorgeous I say quickly tearing my eyes away and back to the road conscious of the fact I've probably been staring the whole time

L-thanks she says blushing

ELLIE'S POV:

I take my phone out as unknown to Dad I now have his best friend's number, I open our chats. I text her | I change my mind on this bet put me down for ten pounds from my own money| I can tell I'm definitely on the right betting side so I have upped my bet from a pound to ten pounds to show how confident I am seeing as Angela is very aware of how little of my own money I have. We slowly make it to Pizza Express. Dad gets out first and quickly makes his way round to open the door for Lucy as I get out of the car following behind them into the restaurant as I see how busy it is and suddenly I've become very aware of everything happening and I look across the room to the mirrored windows where I see the reflection of myself. This causes me to feel very cautious all of a sudden loosing my appetite but I keep a smile on my face to match Lucy and Tim's as we get brought to a booth at the back it's one of the ones with a round table meaning the booth curves around it and somehow I get stuck in between Lucy and Tim. All that's going through my head is how i shouldn't have suggested that I wasn't hungry I was bored and I didn't even suggest something with low calories I suggested pizza.
