The next morning, Jimin was jolted awake by the persistent ringing of his doorbell. He opened his eyes groggily, realizing he had fallen asleep on the floor. Disoriented and still wrapped in the heavy emotions of the previous night, he slowly got to his feet and shuffled toward the door.

When he finally opened it, he was met with the sight of Taeyung standing outside, his face illuminated by a wide, cheerful smile. Jimin blinked in confusion, his mind still struggling to fully wake up.

“Taeyung?” Jimin asked, his voice rough and tired. “What are you doing here?”

Taeyung, unphased by Jimin’s disheveled appearance, stepped closer and said, “Still not ready? I’m here to pick you up.”

Jimin’s eyebrows furrowed in confusion as he looked at Taeyung, trying to process his words. “Pick me up? For what?”

Taeyung’s smile remained as he entered Jimin’s apartment. “I’m taking you out today. I thought you could use a break, and I promised to make it better. We’re going somewhere special, and it’s going to be a nice change of pace.”

Jimin stood there, still half-asleep and puzzled. “But I didn’t get any message from you, and I’m not really in the mood to go anywhere right now.”

Taeyung’s expression softened as he took in Jimin’s worn-out look. “I understand you’re feeling down, and I’m really sorry for not checking in sooner. But I think getting out of here could help you clear your head. Come on, it’ll be good for you.”

Jimin hesitated, glancing at his untidy apartment and then back at Taeyung. “I don’t have anything ready, and I’m not sure I’m up for it.”

Taeyung gently placed a hand on Jimin’s shoulder, his touch warm and reassuring. “You don’t need to worry about that. I brought a few things for you. Just come with me. Sometimes a change of scenery can make all the difference.”

Jimin’s eyes searched Taeyung’s face for any hint of insincerity but found only genuine concern. He sighed and nodded slowly. “Alright. Let me just grab a few things.”

Taeyung’s smile widened, and he nodded in approval. “Take your time. We’re not in a hurry. I’m just glad you’re coming.”

As Jimin moved around his apartment to prepare, Taeyung waited patiently, offering him a sense of comfort and stability amidst the turbulence of his emotions. When Jimin was finally ready, Taeyung’s warm smile greeted him, and together they walked out of the apartment, Jimin feeling a small, hopeful flutter in his chest as they headed toward Taeyung’s car.

Taeyung led Jimin to a serene, secluded part of the beach where the sand was soft and untouched. Despite it being a sunny Sunday, the place was eerily empty, a testament to Taeyung’s influence and resources. The only sound was the gentle lapping of waves against the shore and the distant call of seagulls.

As they walked along the edge of the water, Taeyung glanced at Jimin, who seemed to be lost in thought. “It’s beautiful here, isn’t it?” Taeyung said, his voice soft and soothing. “I thought it might be a good place for us to talk and relax.”

Jimin nodded, trying to shake off the unease that had been gripping him since the night before. “It is beautiful. I didn’t expect this.”

Taeyung smiled warmly. “Well, I wanted to make today special. You’ve been through a lot lately, and I thought you deserved a little peace and quiet.”

Jimin’s eyes wandered over the landscape, trying to focus on the calm surroundings rather than the storm of emotions inside him. “Thank you, Taeyung. This means a lot to me.”
