It's the third week of summer and Nadia's best friend Serena invites her to an AirBnb party in North Philly.
"Girl Im telling you its gonna be so fun and you haven't been out the house since we graduated" Serena says laughing
"You know why Serena I just don't feel like going through no shit" Nadia states
"I know I know but nothing is going to happen I promise"
Nadia nods and Serena jumps for joy.
"Okay bring your best fits okay" she says excitedly
Nadia nods and the facetime call ends. She gets out of bed and makes her bed. She looks in the mirror and rubs her eyes. She packs her tote bag with clothes, a towel, two washcloths, toothbrush, travel sized shampoo and conditioner, body wash and lotion, perfume, face wash, face scrub, mouthwash and her makeup case and some sandals. Nadia is 5'5, a light toffee color,brown eyes, shes a little on the thicker side due to birth control. She has abs due to her running track.She just dyed her hair so its a light brown color with blonde streaks. She walks to the bathroom and takes a shower, brushes her teeth and washes her face. The party starts around 6 pm and its 3 now. She gets out the bathroom and heads back in her room to get ready. She throws on a crop top, Jean shorts and her sandals. Her toes are white and her nails are French tip, she puts her hair in a top pony and does her edges. She puts on her gold necklaces, gold rings, gold anklet and gold earrings. She has a double nose piercing and a smiley so she switches from silver to gold. She sprays her vanilla perfume on herself and then grabs her bag and calls an Uber. Her mom isn't home because she's on a business trip and her brother isnt home because he's in the army. So she basically spends all her time alone. The Uber pulls up and takes her to her best friends house. She gets out and walks right in Serenas house. Serena lives with her mom, two brothers and her older sister. Serena is brown skin, dark brown shoulder length hair, light brown eyes, she's a little slimmer than Nadia. Nadia heads straight to Serenas room and before she goes in she does a couple of breathers.
"Hey girl" she says walking In
"Heyyy Im so glad that youre coming" she says smiling
Serena packed her clothes in a book bag and she has on a black bodycon romper and her black fluffy slides. She has Fulani braids in and she did her edges.
"Well you kinda sorta forced me" Nadia laughs
They both head downstairs and sit in the living room and wait for 6 pm. Serena's older brother Nicholas or Nicky for short has had the biggest crush on Nadia since they were little. He came downstairs and saw Nadia and sat in the living room with her and Serena.
"Hey Nadia wassup" he says
Nadia rolls her eyes
"Hey Nicky" she says back
"Why you so hostile all the time" he asks
"Probably because she dosen't fucking like you" Serena says laughing
"Wasn't you just.....nevermind Ill just shut the fuck up" He says looking at Serena and then Nadia laughing
He gets up and walks away
"What was that all about?" Nadia questions
"Nothing" Serena says quickly
6 pm comes faster than expected and they call the Uber and head to North Philly. Nadia is still thinking about what Nicky was saying or what he was gonna say about Serena. She pushed the thought to the back of her head and decided to just have fun. They get on the destination and its lit. They get out and head inside and they see a lot of familiar faces a girl runs up to Nadia.
