KAIROS AND ISADORA WATCHED THE VAMPIRE from a distance as he got out of the beat up mustang car and quickly shrugged the hood of his jumper over his head. The two hunters were huddled in the front seat glaring at the creature as he entered the abandoned warehouse his coven hid in, quickly ushered in by another vampire.

Their target was none other than a vampire they had been tracking for weeks, waiting for him to return to his coven, one of the oldest they had encountered in years, which meant powerful vampires. But they weren't interested in the others, just the leader

Kai adjusted his binoculars, peering through the window shield, "There he goes," he said, his voice gravely from not speaking. "Take me to your papa, little vamp"

Isa, who had been fiddling with her machete glanced over at her brother with eyebrows raised at his comment before stifling her laugh.

"You ready?" Isadora glanced at her brother who nodded at her words. They exited their vehicle quietly going towards the trunk and opening it to reveal an arsenal of weapons. Kai grabbed his machete quickly unsheathing it, the sharp metal glinting in the moonlight, he grinned before pulling the cover back over it and secured it to his pants. Isa reached for her crossbow and arrows, coated in dead man's blood and quietly sheathed it on her back.

The trunk shut with a quiet thud, the two siblings glanced at one another before sharing grins.

Stealthily, they snuck into the warehouse through an unlocked window, Kai going through first to make sure it was safe before pulling his sister through.

The walls of the warehouse revealed cracked brick and peeling paint, streaked with years of grime and neglect. The large, arched windows, once a source of light were boarded up with large wooden planks and rusted metal sheets, sealing the light away. The abandoned space was filled with loose blankets that fell in front of the windows, nailed shut of course.
