Zel and flynn were singing together on the boat as the lanterns flew all around them after the song flynn apologized for the bouncing wedgie while zel apologized for hitting him with a frying pan again.
Flynn rows them to the edge of the woods and once out of the boat they were soon spotted by the stabbington brothers who somehow learnt about zels magical hair so flynn tells zel to run.
A few hours later a panicked zel was running but soon gets his hair caught on a log when out of the bushes to his surprise his mother appears and frees him before leading him back to their tower once home mother removed the braids and flowers and made zel make her younger again after that she grabbed the boy by the throat and told him he wouldn't be leaving this tower or room ever again she then released zel before leaving the room and locking the door laughing evily as she went to sit by the fireplace.
