Lizzie began to memorise Tom's features. She fought the impulse to run her hand through his short hair. Then she paused, what was she holding back for? She didn’t have anything to lose. Worst case scenario she would make a fool of herself and then never see him again. But best case- her breath caught. Did she dare?Tom turned back to her and noticed her gaze. He lifted an eyebrow in question. It was just too much to resist. Lizzie leaned forward and kissed him gently on the lips. Tom lifted his hands in surprise and then after a second he carefully rested his hands on her back. She reached up to trace the side of his jaw with her fingertips. After a few seconds she leaned back and looked at him.
He opened his mouth but didn’t say anything. Lizzie suddenly felt like a massive idiot. “Was that okay?… that I just did that, I mean?”
Tom opened and closed his mouth and mortification washed over Lizzie. She moved away in embarrassment. As if nature was mimicking her fall from grace, rain started to drop on the car roof. Tom held onto her to stop her retreating, “Yes… I mean absolutely yes. I was just a little surprised.”
Lizzie frowned, “Surprised?”
“I didn’t…” Tom ran his hand through his hair and then rested his hands on the steering wheel, “If I’m honest?”
Lizzie nodded, preparing herself for the worst.
He continued, “If I’m honest, I didn’t think that you liked me. I mean I hoped you did, but I…”
“I like you.”
Tom looked at her intently, “Okay.”
She leaned in to kiss him again and he moved his lips away a fraction, “And by okay I mean, fantastic.” Lizzie smiled and kissed him. He broke away again, “For the record, I like you too.” Lizzie smiled broadly. She couldn't believe her luck. She felt like she was dreaming. Outside, the rain became more heavy. The backdrop of the city faded away and the storm wrapped around them like a curtain.
They kissed until the kisses became frantic and Lizzie climbed onto his lap. His kisses were like oxygen and she couldn’t get enough. His hands slid up and down her sides and pressed her closer to him. She wanted him with such an urgency. The horn beeped loudly, which made them both jump.
“Backseat?”
She nodded and they climbed into the back, landing roughly and picking up where they left off. They kissed for what seemed like hours, until Lizzie couldn’t stand it anymore. She slid her top off and dropped it to the ground. She leaned back and took off her bra. Tom watched her and then devoured her with kisses and caresses. He quickly slid off his shirt and they reclined n the backseat. Lizzie rolled under him and moaned as he began to kiss and suck her neck. Lizzie was in absolute ecstasy. She had never felt anything even remotely like it before. She fumbled with his belt.
“You sure?” he asked, kissing her neck again.
Lizzie nodded and he slid his trousers off. She slid down his boxers and rubbed him. Then he was on top of her kissing her and sliding against her folds.
“Condom?”
He nodded, fumbling again with his trousers. He sat up and started putting it on. When he threw the empty packet to the ground Lizzie climbed on top and straddled him, taking him inside her. Tom her butt and squeezed, ‘Oh Jesus.”
She pumped up and down a few times, “I haven’t. Wait.”
Lizzie stopped, “What?”
“I haven’t got the condom on yet…”
Lizzie giggled and climbed off of him, “Sorry.”
He chuckled and quickly slid the condom on, “All go.”
