"Dude, college girls are so hot, and it's only the first day?" Jimin half-whispers, half-shouts as they walk past a group of freshmen girls. Jeongguk hears them giggling, clearly flushed by the flirty grin Jimin gave them. It's not a surprise, though, Jimin is a very and noticeable guy after all; with his orange hair, bright smile and loud laugh you can't really miss him in these hallways.

"I already love this place!"

"Really? Just one group of girls, and you're sold?" Jeongguk teases, adjusting one of his bags over his shoulder.

Jimin stops in his tracks, "No! I mean, the girls are a bonus but the best part being here with you, my Gookie pookie." His tone is playful, and Jeongguk can't help but laugh.

Summer had flow by way quicker than expected. The past year had been hectic and stressful, but Jeongguk was glad he'd made it.

Sort of.

For now at least, as he was walking through the college halls with his high school friend Park Jimin, on their way to settle into their dorms.

"You know there's a freshmen party tonight, right?" Jimin continues, and the younger cocks his head at the mention of the welcome party.

"You plan on going?"  He asks with a tone of surprise in his voice, though he wasn't that surprised.  Jimin is the most social and outgoing friend Jeongguk has ever had. Jeongguk had seen some flyer and instagram posts about the party but hadn't given it much thought. Actually, he totally forgot about it until now.

Jimin halts in his tracks, "Uh, yeah, Gguk we are going." He raises an eyebrow as if the younger just said the most ridiculous thing in the world.

"Who's we?" Jeongguk jokes, scrunching his nose as Jimin walks up to him and nudges him playfully.

"You and me, Ggukie. You promised, remember?"

"I did?" He frowns, "when?"

The elder shrugs casually, "Well, yeah. You told me to drag you to every college party, even if you said no."  He reminds him.

Jeongguk thinks. Oh . He did say that. One time. When he was drunk of course.

"My first class starts at 8 tomorrow!' Jeongguk whines.

"Everyones does, that's the whole point! Being hungover at your first class! Pleaseee we can't miss the party, its a great opportunity to meet some people from our year."

Even though Jeongguk would rather spend his night in his room binge-watching the new K-drama he just started, he knows Jimin has a point. It wouldn't hurt to meet some new people on his first day here. One of his goals for college was to make new friends and fun memories after all.

"Fine." The second he agrees, the smaller jumps up in excitement.

"Ah, there he is, college Jeongguk !"

"You're the worst." the younger laughs, not going to admit that he was extremely grateful he's starting college with Jimin on his side. The orange haired guy was a hand full sometimes but he never failed to cheer him up. As an introvert, Jeongguk was truly lucky to have a friend like him.

"Some of my friends from volleybal camp are also going here, I asked them if they were going to the party." Jimin informs him.

"Really?"

"Yeah, they're cool, we can meet them tonight if you want?"

"Sounds good."

As they continued walking, Jeongguk feels his phone buzz in his pocket. He grabs the device and tries to hold back a smile when a familiar name pops up on his screen.
