Lapis woke up to Minun trembling against him. He originally thought it was cold, but then he noticed it was twitching. He scooped it up before cradling it close, gently rocking it. He was glad his mother taught him this part. Pokemon Nightmares tended to be a lot more vicious. Especially depending on where the pokemon came from and their past. Knowing Minun was a constant target for bigger pokemon, he knew this could be trouble. He stayed calm, keeping his focus on Minun until it finally stirred and woke up. Tears had formed as it looked up, confused.

"Shh... it's ok..." He wiped the tears away as Minun realized that it wasn't in danger. It hugged him as he smiled. "There we go..." He smiled as Minun climbed up onto his head. He grabbed his stuff before going down. He was glad he did that when he did. He had plenty of time before the others were to line up. Cedar went over with a hum.

"Your Minun looks terrible."

"It had a nightmare." Cedar hummed before he paused.

"How do you know?"

"Classic signs of nightmares are shared by people and pokemon. It wasn't that hard to figure out." Minun was recatching the time it spent in the nightmare on his head, softly snoring as he finished his breakfast. He then reached up. "Minun. Come on. You need food too." It jumped down and ate up as he sighed.

It was discovered that Lapis was with Cedar for patrol. He wasn't too sure if he should trust the Magic Ranger, but Cedar held to his word and guarded him. He also helped him with training, creating different obstacles for him to try his tools on. They were then tasked to bring supplies from one base back to their base. Cedar eyed the boxes.

"Are they that light?"

"You're not very strong, are you?"

"I'm a Magic Ranger. Strength isn't in my job description."

Lapis hummed as he effortlessly shifted the boxes to rest on his left shoulder.

"Then to answer your question, yeah. They're that light." Cedar merely hummed as they arrived at Ringtown.
