Yeon Y/N was always destined for something extraordinary. As a child, her mother would often find her twirling around the living room, her small feet barely touching the ground as she danced to the rhythm of songs only she could hear. Music was the air she breathed, the fuel that ignited her spirit. By the time she was in high school, her talent was undeniable, and her dreams of becoming a K-pop idol began to crystallize.

But as her dreams grew, so did her relationship with Choi San. They met during their second year of high school, in the most mundane of ways—a group project. San, with his easygoing smile and infectious laugh, quickly became the center of Y/N's world. Their late-night study sessions turned into deep conversations about life, their hopes, and their fears. Before long, they were inseparable.

"You know, one day you'll be on stage, and I'll be in the front row, cheering you on," San said one night as they walked home together. The summer air was warm, the sky painted with hues of pink and orange.

Y/N chuckled, nudging him playfully. "You think so? You might get bored of me by then."

"Never," he replied, his voice soft but firm. "I could never get bored of you, Y/N."

Their relationship deepened with every passing day. San was her first love, the person who saw her not just as a talented dancer or a dreamer, but as a person with insecurities, fears, and imperfections. He was the one who made her feel like she was enough, just as she was.

But in 2015, everything changed. Y/N heard about the JYP Entertainment auditions through a friend at school. The idea of auditioning terrified her—JYP was one of the biggest entertainment companies in South Korea, and the competition would be fierce. But San encouraged her, as he always did.

"You've got this, Y/N," he told her the night before the audition. They were sitting by the Han River, their favorite spot, the place where they shared their dreams and fears. "You're the best dancer I know, and your voice... it's beautiful. JYP would be lucky to have you."

"What if I don't make it?" Y/N asked, her voice small. "What if I'm not good enough?"

San turned to face her, his expression serious. "You are good enough. You're more than good enough. And if they can't see that, then they're the ones missing out."

The next day, Y/N stood in line with hundreds of other hopefuls, her heart pounding in her chest. She could barely focus, her mind replaying San's words over and over again. When it was finally her turn, she stepped onto the stage, took a deep breath, and let her body move to the music.

She sang, she danced, and for those few minutes, the world fell away. It was just her, the music, and the hope that this could be the beginning of something incredible.

Two weeks later, the acceptance letter arrived. Y/N couldn't believe it—she had actually made it. She was going to be a trainee at JYP Entertainment. Her dreams were finally within reach.

But that night, as she sat with San by the river, the excitement she had felt earlier was tinged with sadness.

"I got in," she said, handing him the letter.

San's eyes widened as he read the words on the page. "Y/N, this is amazing! You did it!"

But Y/N couldn't bring herself to smile. "San... if I go, things are going to change. JYP has rules, strict ones. No relationships, no distractions. I don't know what's going to happen to us."

San's smile faded, replaced by a look of understanding and sadness. He had known this moment might come, but it didn't make it any easier.

"We'll find a way," he said quietly, pulling her close. "We'll make it work."
