Chapter 10

I lock the door and go inside. That sentence was still haunting my mind.
I was going inside when I saw bhai coming out of the bathroom.

"Di?"

"Bhai?"

"What are you doing here? At 3 am in the morning!"

"Nothing..."

He noticed my slippers.

"You were out!"

"Nooooo I was not!"

"I am going to tell ma!"

"Bhai listen!"

"Maaaa-"

"No waittttt!"

I run towards him and cover his mouth with both of my hands to prevent him from calling maa. If maa gets to know about this then I am finished.

"Bhai please!"

"MMMMMMMM MMMMMMMM"

"Listen tell me what do you want. I will give you that. But keep this a secret. Donot tell ma and baba about this."

I remove my hand from his mouth.

"I do not want anything I will go and tell maa about this."

"Think twice! What about that colouring set of yours which you wanted to get since ages?"

"What?"

"It has exclusive colors with brushes and much more. Think again. You want that?"

He stares at me.

"Okay then, if you don't want-"

"I want it! I want it. Okay I will keep my mouth shut. I will not tell ma. But I want that colouring set."

"Okay. I will get you that tomorrow. But if you open your little mouth in front of ma then I will finish you."

"Dosh tui korechis ar dhomkacchis amake!"(You are the one who is wrong here and yet you are threatening me.)

"Whatever. Go to sleep again. Goodnight."

"Whom did you go out with?"

"Someone."

"Boyfriend?"

"Haha I have a boyfriend in your dreams. Go back to sleep kiddo."

I ignore him and go to my room. I know my bhai. He will not tell ma anything because I am giving him something for this. Greediness at its peak.
I freshen up and go back to bed.

Tomorrow, as he said, Arjun didn't come. Apparently, he went on a friend's road trip for 2 days with his friends. The Guy named Nitin whom Shilpa is currently seeing, he is also a friend of his and has also gone to the trip. Shilpa got to know from him and I got to know from her. That means he will not be coming today and tomorrow.
Me and Shilpa were talking when a guy came to us and started talking to me.

"Yo gurl are you the one for whom a mess was created at canteen?"

Before I could answer, Shilpa slammed the guy.

"Hey hey excuse he dumbass, shut your fucking mouth right now or it will be my sndal and your face. Back off. Asshole"

I was watching the whole drama. When the guy left, giving us a wierd look, I turned to Shilpa.

"Okay that was mean but I liked it."

"You have to be mean baby to some people. Learn how to be tough."

"Anyways let's go to the auditorium. The fashion show starts in an hour."

We headed towards the venue and the fashion show started after an hour. People in the audience started whispering about the couples and who is pairing with whom. Indeed Arjun was right. People need distractions to forget a certain event.

After the event ended, I gathered my group and we went to the common room for our practice. The main event is near and we needed to be perfect.

We had our rehearsals smoothly. After it ended, all of us went home as classes were not held in college because of the fest. I checked my scooty and it was surprisingly working. Wierd. So I gave Shilpa a ride to her home. And narrated her what happened yesterday.

"Dhara that is so dreamy!"

"I know right! I cannot even imagine that I went out in the middle of the night without my parents'knowledge!"

"Aree nooo not that. I am talking about your night drive with Arjun. That's so dreamy. God Dharu it sounds so romantic!"

"Yeah I stepped on the mud and he caught me. For like 15 seconds he was so close to me that I could feel his breath on my eyelids."

"I am telling you this is the starting of-"

"Delusion? Yes. He will never consider me as a date or a girlfriend. We are just friends and I am satisfied with that."

"Pelhe tum log professional they. Woh sirf ek partner the fest mein. Aur abh dost bhi ban gaye ho. Aur bohot jaldi wo premik bhi ban jayega!"
(Ar first, you two were profesional. He was just a fest partner. Now he has become a friend. Soon he will become your lover)

"Nonsense. Shilpa give your thoughts a little rest. We will think about that later. Now you stop has come. Go home."

Shilpa gets off the scooter and turns at me

"My words always come true. You will see. Let the time come."

Then she enters her house.

Hellllllo readers. How are you liking my story? Are you all enjoying? Okay so I need suggestions. This is a college romance story. So should I add smut or some such in it? I mean will it be okay to read with or without it. Just let me know. I just need all your support. This story is very very close to my heart for certain reasons. And also, I will be posting less now as my semester exam is here. But I will be posting for sure.
