💕 Mine. (Nuzi)

N was being extra clingy today. Uzi wasn't sure why; if it were something that happened to him, or something that happened to her, or just a nightmare in general. Either way, it bothered her. It wasn't N who was bothering her- she loved his company- it was the fact that he wouldn't leave her side.

"Uzi?" N called, though she was standing right next to him.
"Yeah, N? What's up?" Uzi responded, touching his hand to let him know she was there.
He immediately gripped it and hugged her closer to him. "You're not going to leave me, right?"
Uzi nodded slowly, unsure of where this was going. "No, why..?"

He didn't let go of her hand. He spoke in a low voice as he lashed his tail, "And you're mine right?"

Uzi blushed as she nodded again. "Uh... Sure..?"

"And nobody else's right? Just mine?" N pushed, his expression remaining expressionless.
Uzi was now shuffling her feet, looking at him. She didn't respond, but was blushing furiously. What was he trying to say?

N looked at her, a stern look crossing his face. "Just mine?" He repeated, squeezing her hand.

"Well I... What are you trying to say?"

"I'm not saying anything... Just asking... Can you please just say yes?"

Uzi blushed as N held her hand tighter. "Er- fine..."

N still pushed, "Can you say it? That your mine?"

Uzi was now staring at him, both flustered and amused. "Why?"

N grumbled, flicking his tail. "Uzi, please."

She rolled her eyes, "N, I'm not going to be saying anything without a reason."

N let go of Uzi's hand, crossing his arms and lashing his tail. "Uzi. It's not that hard... Please just agree."

"Only if you tell me why." She said, standing her ground.

"Uzi just say it."

"Are you going to tell me why?"

"Are you going to say it already?"

Uzi frowned. She had never seen N so stubborn before. He had never been so stubborn before. She took a step closer to him, trying to read his expression.

He grumbled as she approached him but didn't move away. Instead he took a step forwards, putting his hands behind his back as he leaned down to her level.

"Are you sure nothing is going on? You are being extra clingy nowadays. What's the reason?"
N smiled slyly, cupping her face in his hands. "And you're extra adorable today." His goofy voice made the butterflies in Uzi's stomach start up.

"Sh-shut up! Bite me!" Uzi stuttered, though she leaned into N's touch.

He grinned at her flustered response. "Say it Uzi pleaaseee" He begged, shoving his face into Uzi's hair as he pulled her close to his chest.

She nuzzled into the crook of his jacket, unresponsive.

N waited for a couple of moments before prying her away from his body and looking her in the eyes. He blushed as he laid his forehead against hers, his tail tail wagging slightly.

"Say it." He told her, not exactly asking anymore.

Uzi blushed at the contact before stuttering out the words, "I-I'm yours..."

N grinned pulling her in for another hug. "Alright, thanks Uzi!" He grinned, his tail wagging.
Uzi smiled into his chest as she hugged him back.

He then took her by the hand and led her by out of the pod to a small field.

The snow had been cleared out and metal dandelions and other varieties of flowers had been planted, a long pathway running between them.
