Chapter 20: A mysterious girl

The banquet was nothing like i ever knew. There were things i had never seen before. Actually, all of it was unknown to me. And it was so big... way too much for the 5 people sitting down right now. But much like my suspicion 3 extra people sat down. One was a woman with black hair. She was good looking and seemed very powerfull. Though not in magic or swordsmanship. To the contrast she looked strong emotionally. Because as soon as she walked in i felt at ease. 

There was also a man fitting her composure. Though he felt less composed, he still was very composed. The last person to enter was a girl. I couldn't see her face, but she held the exact same aura as the mother. 

They ate in peace. Not many words were said except "Can you pass me the ... ?" or stuff like that. I almost fell asleep, but couldn't at the same time. It was my job to keep interest in. Therefore i shut my eyes and trained my mana whilst they were "chatting away". I noticed a gaze on me and i opened my eyes. After they signed for me to come to the table. Wich i did

"This is Seth. He will escort the girls"

"..."

What? Escort? To where?!

I think Luke saw my confused face. Because he said:

"He will make sure they come to Shirone safely"

Why would they need to go to Shirone? This makes even less sence!

"(It's a bonding experience between the girls.)"

Luke whispered in my ears. 

"(Thanks)"

Luke just gave a faint smile. 

"If miss Anako doesn't have a guard, Seth will also serve well. I haven't heard much of the girls, but he has been recognized by Reida and the girls. So i am sure he is quite strong. Strong enough to care for the three of them. Isn't that right, Seth?"

"Y-yes!"

*The family will be "Man, Woman and girl."

Man 1: "Yes, that is quite alright. I believe you. And on top of that, if Reida herself reccomended him he should be very strong."

Woman 1: "Then Anako will be in your care aswell"

She gave a light tap on Anako's shoulder

Anako: "Y-yes! I will be in your care!"

Then, a loud crash came from the backyard. 

Luke: "(We will finish up soon. Please look what that was. Your excused.)

Ah yes! Let's finish up. No worries, Seth will handle it all. Let's continue eating"

I got to the backyard, where the hard crash came from. A big hole was there, but it wasn't large deep wise. It was more so on width. In the very middle, there was a girl with white hair. She was unconcious. I ran over to her to see if she was okay. Giving light taps against her cheeks and asking things. But she did not respond. By now i could feel mana quite well, wich made me realize she had a lot of mana potential, but was all out of it right now. I had an idea for transporting mana, but i had no guarantee that that would work. Quite the contrast. I had no faith in that. But it wouldn't change the fact she was unconcious. Wich led me to heal her. Just when i finished up i could see Luke in the corner of my eye. 

"A girl huh..? Where could she have come from?"

"I have no idea sir. But i will escort her to my room and let her rest there. If she is a threat, i would prefer her not to be anywhere close to you guys."

"Quite the knowledge you have up there don't you? But that's alright. Do as you see fit. I hope you can resolve this matter."

"Yeah"
