"It doesn't matter," I sighed when the store was closed, "I can just... drop the whole idea."

Deku gave me a look. "Oh, don't be sad..."

I was about to speak that it was okay, that we could just go to my apartment and call it a day but...

The sound of breaking glass had me flinch.
"Deku!" I hissed.

In broad day light Deku broke into a paint shop.

"Idiot!"

"You're the idiot if you give up so quick!" Deku said out loud, "What colour do you want?"

"All of them." I followed him inside and started grabbing red, blue, orange, green, yellow, purple and pink. I found white and black brown and a special violet which I appreciated before Deku put everything in a bag and we headed out. (So basically, I grabbed every colour)

"Should I carry something?" I asked Deku before he shrugged.
"Isn't it heavy...?"

"You could help me with something else," Deku decided, "I can't decide on what to eat."

"Er... beef stew?"

"How will we steal that?"

"Walk into a restaurant, order, get the food, walk out without paying."

"..." Deku gave me a look, "That sounds evil."

"Wha— come on!" I complained, "After everything, all the shit, this is where you... draw... the...line."
I facepalmed, "Right, moving on."

Deku just laughed.
"It's a good idea, though considering we just caused a panic in that store and got filmed and all..."

"Right, we'd get caught," I sighed.

"Probably but..." Deku dragged out the 'u' before he handed me the heavy bag full of paint and I stumbled at the weight, "We could get disguises!"

"Heavy!" I nearly fell on the ground with every next step.

"I'll buy something, you wait..." Deku pushed me into an alley, "Right here! Just a minute!"

He ran off and I stood there, the paints in my arms. I took a moment to look around before I started becoming a bit more aware of what I was doing exactly. Was I running away from home?
Apart from the scene that had just occurred, the heroes that had chased us, the murder that still haunted my thoughts...
That's what seemed the scariest.

I mean, I got kidnapped... what's stopping me from running from Deku? I could find a hero but...
Knowing Deku... he'd just walk right up to that hero, hit them in the face with a glitter bomb and stab me.

"I'm back!"

"That was quick," I readjusted the bag in my arms, "What were you doing?"

"I got us disguises!" Deku was holding two hats, a wig and some clothes. "You can put the bag down."

Why didn't I do that before?
Deku gave me a set of stuff and gestured. "Put it on."

"You mean to say, change, in an alley, right in front of you? No thanks."

Deku shrugged, "Your problem, just make sure we don't get caught."

I changed my hoodie to a normal sweater and looked at the skirt. "You don't know how to choose outfits... huh."

"I wanted to be quick," Deku huffed.

I sighed. The disguise worked however when I made my hair messy. "I look like I just woke up."
