Five climbed into the car, his grip on Y/n's hand tight and unyielding. "So are you going to elaborate?" she asked, her gaze searching his face as they pulled away from the curb. Five's lips curled into a smirk, his eyes gleaming with a familiar intensity. "You're cute when you're sassy," he flirted, his tone dripping with a confidence that set Y/n's nerves on edge. She huffed out an annoyed sigh, sinking deeper into the passenger seat. "Okay, look," Five began, his expression shifting to one of grim determination. "I've been thinking, and I think I've figured it out. Your powers – the more you used them, the stronger they got, right? And even when Dad stuck you in this body, you continued to grow." Y/n shot him a confused glance, her brow furrowing. "What are you getting at?" "It's all about mental position," Five continued, his words coming faster now, tinged with an edge of desperation. "We just need to get you in a place where you're comfortable, where you can access that power again."

Y/n glanced down at her hands, a flicker of yearning passing across her features. She had missed her abilities, the raw, untamed energy that had once coursed through her veins. Without them, she felt off-balance, a crucial part of herself spiraling out of control. "You really think I can do it?" she asked quietly, her gaze hopeful yet guarded. "Get them back, I mean." Five's smile was reassuring, his grip on her hand tightening ever so slightly. "You are more than capable, Y/n. I'm not sure if you'll be able to get them as strong as they used to be, but we can sure as hell try." Y/n felt a surge of affection for the boy – no, the man – beside her. She lifted his hand to her lips, pressing a gentle kiss to his knuckles. The drive to Allison's was quiet, but the air between them was alive with a familiar, comforting energy.

As Five pulled the car to a stop, he blinked to Y/n's side, opening the door for her in a surprisingly chivalrous gesture. Y/n felt a flush creep across her cheeks as she climbed out, her eyes locked with his. They stood there for a moment, caught in a sweet, intimate moment – until the sound of shattering glass shattered the tranquility. "What was that?" Y/n asked, tightening her grip on Five's arm. "I don't know, but I pray it's not the Swedes," he whispered, his voice low and tense. Taking Y/n's hand, Five blinked them both into the kitchen, ready to face whatever threat awaited. Instead, they found both drunk Klaus and drunk Allison on the floor, rolling in laughter amidst the shattered remains of a tequila bottle. "Y/n! You're back, and you brought Wittle Baby Five," Klaus announced, his words slurred by intoxication. "Come, come, come have a drink with us!" Allison's laughter echoed his invitation, her eyes shining with a drunken mirth.

Y/n exchanged a concerned glance with Five, unsure of how to proceed. "How are we going to get them into the car?" she whispered. Five's response was a sharp roll of his neck, the loud popping sound cutting through the raucous din. "With a fight," he muttered, his jaw set with determination. Somehow, they managed to wrangle the inebriated siblings into the car, the journey back to Elliot's shop a chaotic blur. As they stumbled through the doors, their other siblings and Elliot came into view, looming over them from the upper level. "I know this is impossible, but did we all get sexier?" Klaus asked, earning him a collective groan from the group. "Vanya," Allison breathed, her voice tinged with disbelief. "I can't believe I have not only one sister, but two!" Vanya exclaimed, her face alight with joy as she bounded down the stairs to embrace Allison.

"I missed you," Allison murmured, her arms wrapped tightly around her sister.  "Thank God, someone did," Vanya responded, a hint of her old bitterness shining through. Here's a more casual version of the passage: Y/n watched the reunion with a bittersweet smile, her heart swelling with a mix of happiness and sorrow. It was a rare moment of unity in their dysfunctional family – a glimpse of the connection they used to have, back before everything went to shit. She couldn't help but feel a pang of longing, a reminder of all the lost years. But despite the melancholy, there was a sense of relief washing over her too. Seeing her siblings, for once, not at each other's throats? It was weirdly comforting, in a way. Leaning into Five's shoulder, Y/n let out a contented sigh. "I don't know why, but this view makes me so damn happy," she murmured, her voice soft and a little wonder-struck. Five pressed a gentle kiss to her forehead, his expression tender. "I know why," he said, those intense eyes of his scanning her face. "It's because all the arguing and drama usually gets you down, you know? So seeing them just... get along, for once? It's a relief."

Y/n's mouth fell open, a surge of affection washing over her. The way Five could read her like an open book, understanding the complexities of her emotions better than anyone else – it was both exhilarating and a little unsettling. This feeling, this connection with him, was different from anything she'd had, even with Ace back in the day. There was a depth, an intimacy to it that left her giddy and apprehensive in equal measure. Sure, she'd always felt close to Five, but this... this was something else entirely. "How do you know me so well, that you can just call out my fears like that?" she breathed, that strange, unfamiliar feeling blooming in her chest. Five's lips curved into a gentle smile, his fingers caressing her cheek. "Because, I know you," he said simply, and the weight of those words sent a shiver down her spine. Y/n had always known their bond was special, that Five understood her in a way no one else did. But this? This was something on a whole other level. As their gazes locked, she felt a connection ignite between them, a current of electricity that threatened to sweep her away. "I hate to interrupt this, but we have a problem to fix," he continued, his voice taking on a more serious tone. "We've got to get started. Klaus," he called out, addressing their brother. "Is Ben here?" Klaus blinked, momentarily caught off guard. "No, uh... ghost can't time travel." Five nodded, his expression grim. "Let's get down to business, then." As their siblings gathered around, the air thick with anticipation, Y/n felt a new sense of purpose take hold. Whatever challenges lay ahead, they would face them together – as a family. And with Five by her side, she knew they had a fighting chance.
