I woke up when the sun rose. I made sure that everyone was accounted for and slowly started to creep out. "And where do you think you are going?" a voice asked, from behind me. I slowly turn around to see Kitty. "I'm just going to Mary's place. Her son has stuff for us. I'll be quick," I say and start to make my way to the entree way. "Let me come with you," she whispered and walked up to me. "No, someone needs to stay here and watch everyone. With Kennedy coming to town, police have been crawling every where and we can't afford anyone getting arrested," I say and bend down to crawl out, but Kitty grabs my arm. "Jack can watch. Please," she begs me with her eyes. "You never want to come to theses kind of things, why now?" I ask, crossing my arms over my chest. She looks away and lets out a sniff. "Because I'm worried about you." She looks back at me with tears in her eyes. I've never seen Kitty cry. Well, the night Ace died, I heard her. She cried for an hour straight before falling sleep.

I didn't even sleep that night. I couldn't. It was freezing in the theater. I gave my blanket to the new little one and normally I would cuddle up close to Ace. When I had told the others about Ace they kept it in. The younger ones just stared at me and looked confused. Jack stood up and ordered a early bedtime. Jack walked up to me and I collapsed in his arms. I screamed. I was the only one who made noise that night. Ace gave me an order and until I get back home to Klaus, Five and Vanya, I will not fail. Five. Now that's a name I haven't said in a long time. I pray that one day, I might see him again. But I have a job to do now.

I look up at Kitty and nod. She sniffs and gives me a half smile. We walked in silence as we make our way to the TV store. "Ok, just let me do the talking. Elliot's a nice simple guy, I'll just ask him for the stuff then we can go, ok?" I ask her. She nods and I open the door. As soon as we step in I immediately hear yelling. "Are you or are you not an enemy of the people?" Elliot yells. Kitty and I look at each other and rush up the stairs. "You move one more mussel and I will blow your brain out!" When I heard this, I start to climb the stairs faster. When I made it to the top, I see two faces that I never thought I would see again. "Five?" I ask. Five turns to see where the voice came form and his eyes focus on me. "Y-Y/n?" His voice hitched. "You know her?" Elliot asked, still pointing the gun at him. "Hey, I'm here too," Diego said and I chuckle. "Hi, Diego," I say and walk to them. But Elliot, stops me. "Wait, Dottie. Don't go near them, they are criminals," he said stoping me with the shot gun.

I look up at him and take the shot gun in my arms and uses her powers to set him to a chair. "It's been a while since I've used those," I say looking at my hand. I've tried to practice them with like rocks and apples. But never with people. Elliot looks at me shocked. "Look, Elliot, I know both of these guys. And whatever they are trying to do, is for the better, you just have to trust them. Now, as for my business here, your late mother has some stuff for us, and we need it. If you will gladly bring it to us, we will be put of your hair so you can continue your- well, what ever is going on here," I speak gently. He nods and gets up. I hand him his gun and retreats down the hallway. Kitty, who has been too shocked to speak stares at me. "Kitty, what ever you just saw you can not tell anyone about. Not even Jack, ok? It's for the groups safety," I tell her and she shuts blinks. "Please," I say, grabbing her arms. She swallows and nods. I thank her and kiss her cheek. "When Elliot gets back, I'm going to have you bring the stuff back to the theater. I will fallow shortly after alright?" She nods again, terrified that if she speaks, she will loose her cool.

I turn around to Five and Diego. I couldn't help but run to them. I jump into Diego's arms and hug him tightly. When we let go, I move to Five. He still has the same look. His face is soft and the smile he is giving me gives me hope. We both wrap our arms around each other and I water to sob. "I thought I would never see you again," I whisper. "Me, neither. I spent my entire first day here trying to find you," then he leans in. Thankfully, Elliot walks in and I break from his hug. I can tell he was hurt. His expression turned sour and his smiley mouth turned into a straight line. "I thought Ace did pick ups," Elliot mutter as he sets down 2 boxes, full of blankets, clothes and even a a little food. "Ace is," my voice breaks "Ace died last night. Due to the storm. The roof collapsed on him." Elliot express changed. "Oh Dottie, I am so sorry. Does this mean your in charge? I mean I know how close you were," he asked. "I don't know. I'm still trying to figure that out." He nodded and I nodded at Kitty. "You don't by any chance have a wagon or anything. Kitty's gotta take all this stuff back to the ally." I ask. Elliot nods and guides Kitty down stairs.

There was an awkward silence in the air, and thank god, Diego asked an easy question. "When did you get to Dallas?" "About a a year and half ago. I've tried to stay hidden not knowing where else to go. What about you?" I ask "I landed-" "Who's Ace?" Five asked, jealousy poisoning his words. "Just the leader of my gang." "You were in a gang?" Diego asked, smiling "that is so badass." "Well we're really not a gang. More like a group. Homeless, runaways. Street Rats and Ally Cats is what we call ourselves. They took me in when I landed." "That's a short time to become 2nd in command. How did you do it?" Five asked crossing his arms over his chest. "Five, please. We will talk about this later, for right now, all I care is finding out why the hell I walked in to Elliot threatening to shoot your brains out," I say and that's when I notice the other person in the room. "Also who is she?" I ask. "That's Lila. And I have no idea why she's here. But Diego met her at a mantle institution and couldn't give her up," Five said, still staring me down.

"Oh," was all I could mutter out. "Well, thank your for that Five. Now if you excuse us, we are going to go find some rope to tie the emotionally unstable adult when he gets back," Lila said, pulling Diego with him. "Nice to meet you, Y/n." "You too," I call out. There was silence between Five and I. But it needs to break. "Look Five, I really am glad to see you. And I am willing to answer any questions you have, but you just have to give me time. I just lost someone and now I'm the leader of a whole group. Please let me figure this out before," I beg stepping forward. Something about Five is that it takes a lot of time for him to open up to you, so if you ever break his trust it will not go over well. But I know that he will eventually come around. And I miss him. There wasn't day go by where there wasn't something that reminded me of him. Even while I was with Ace, there still was feelings with Five, and I believe that those feeling will return. I just gotta do a few things first.
