The Missionary Arc

hey guys i got sick so i have time to write this lol, anyways enjoy chapter two, Ps: each chapter will technically be a new arc so.

Starting off what happened a minute earlier. Our main character Amari has a new challenge ahead of himself, dealing with his friend's family troubles.

(Amari reasons will be soon be revealed so if your confused why he is doing this you'll find out)

Amari: I'll do it, I just need to tell this to Shy. 

Liam: Wha- who's Shy?

Amari: Oh yea.. i forgot to say she's also coming with me on my journey!

Liam: Hmm.. okay 

Liam starts walking  while Amari catches up wondering what he should do about the lack of power.

Amari: So uh I'll meet you back at this spot tomorrow. I needa find somewhere to sleep.

Liam: Alright.. See ya ✌️ 

Amari heads off for the hotel before exactly forgetting his original quest but at this point he had gave up on the original quest and walked towards the nearby hotel or well den.

Receptionist: Oh Hello there welcome to "The Den"!

Amari: Could i rent out a room for about a day, and uh a shower would be nice too.

Amari pulls out 5 sliver coins and gives the money to the receptionist, the receptionist handed him a towel and on his way. 

An Hour Later

Amari was laying on his bed thinking about his dad and how he's gonna deal with liam's problem, he needed a weapon of some sorts and his dad didn't really give any weapon besides, he packed without help. Then he remember, "Oh shoot, I could buy a weapon from some sort of store, I never was around a city but anyway it shouldn't matter right." Amari had doubts. "Right..?" 

Amari shortly fell asleep trying to not worry about it. His dreams were vague and very strange. But all he could hear was his name... 

Amari wakes up from his sleep very sweaty and hot for no reason. "What the hell..?" Amari finally gets up after 2 minutes of confusion. Amari gets ready for the day and starts heading out as soon as possible. "I don't know exactly when i should go to the area so I should go to some weapon store." Amari wanders around the town looking for that store for about 2 hours. "Man for such a  small village it's so confusing." Like it was fate of some sorts he sees a small shop with weapons inside. Amari had jumped and ran at the shop.

Old Lady: Why hello there Amari.

Amari suddenly stood shocked.

Amari: Ho- How do you know my name?!?

Old Lady: Oh, haha don't worry it's one of my special abilities.

(special abilities are kinda like any anime that has powers or for an example like quirks from mha.)

Amari suddenly felt relieved and than confidently stood straight. 

Amari: Excuse me miss.. I need to find a perfect weapon for me, I'm off to a quest and a weapon is much needed.

Old Lady: Ohohoho, I have many weapons dear, you need to be much more specific than that. 

Amari had realized that he had put no thought into the weapon and started sweating.

Amari: Uh- um maybe a sword of sorts..?

Old Lady had noticed his nervous looks and began looking for a weapon that matched swords.
