Architecture Arc Pt 2

yoo guys sorry for not making any recent parts, i'll focus up.  enjoy this story

The Depot, has become an outbreak from the city it was once overruled by criminals. Where the dark takes the light takes back.  Amari ran alone chosen as the distraction. The group would attack from the back and Amari would get their attention.

Amari ran his way through the rough ground, dodging any sort of monster or problem, he needed to make it there before the others. Mai used her drones to clear out the area of any potential threats, Not sooner or later Amari made it to his spot. He waited around for minutes, laying on the floor. 

Mai: "STOP LAYING ON THE FLOOR?!?"

Amari heard the walkie say something and immediately got struck back up, he saw the drone watching him from above. Amari got up and started standing straight.

Amari: "Ye- Yes Ma'am."

Amari stood straight cautious and carefully before making any type of moment for about an hour. 

Mai: "We are here, now get started"

Amari took a deep breath and started running at the entrance, he carefully ran his way around while Mai gave deep instructions. Amari made it to the entrance and walked in. Amari saw the mess the city was.

Prisoner: Hey little kid, you lost.

Amari: No, at least I don't think so.

Prisoner 2#: Get the boss, we got a little intruder here.

Prisoner used the talkies that the police had and called in the boss. Amari was contemplating on just attacking them now but he needed to be patient. He looked up at the huge guy. Than finally he stood struck. He felt aura that he never felt before. Amari immediately paced around looking for that aura when a lady came walking in smiling.  

The Boss: Hello there. I'd like to thank you for freeing all of us from before. But unfortunately, we don't have any position of role for you here so. Instead of thanking you, we'll just murder you and your friends. 

Amari grabbed his walkie.

Amari: "THEY KNOW THE-"

The walkie cuts off, and the others take their initiative and bust in. Immediately hundreds if not thousands. 

Mai: Remember the plan! 

The group tenses up before making an attack on the prisoners, Lily uses her dagger and starts slicing one side of the prisoners while Shy used her ice magic, which was way more effective due to the amount of water. Mai sets up explosives and robots, and finally Liam had used his healing to help the others and his fast pace to bring out more distractions. Amari who had his walkie cut off had stood there nervous.

The Boss: Don't worry, i'll make this quick. 

The Boss threw small little blades towards Amari. He got hit with multiple before ducking away,  Amari ran at the first prisoners and upper cut him before doing a clean leg sweep, His lack of fighting experience really didn't do him well because after that the guy got up and punched him in the gut. Sending him back a little, He got his sword out and blocked one of the guys hit before slicing his back and pushing him back. The Boss laughed and threw out more aggressive spikes that made him fall back a little. Amari didn't want to give in yet, he kept fighting. Amari got used to the patterns of spikes and started making more attacks, he adapted to his position. The prisoners didn't have powers but they did have strength. Which made Amari become more alert due to the power they have. Amari kept leaping and dodging, until his heart struck. The spikes had poison hidden in each one and some of them landed on him. He started to cough blood.

Amari: Yo- YOU BASTARD.

The Boss smiled even more. 

Boss: It's funny how naive you really are.

Amari stood up and stared at the boss, at this moment and there he wanted to take her down even if he failed. Amari took his dash and started throwing hits and kicking, but he was just getting beat and beat. He weakened up each prisoners, than attacked directly at the boss. Amari threw and keep hitting no matter what. Amari readied up his sword and made his last dash. At this same point, the group were taking out prisoners like it was easy work. They finally got through the last crowd.

Mai: Wait, AMARI?

The fight had made them forget about Amari who clearly was handling the boss. Liam dashed off and everyone followed ahead.  Liam saw Amari and they made into distance to see what happened next. Amari jumped over the first prisoner and cut his head off before stabbing the next one in the heart. He ran at the boss who through more poison that sinked into his blood even more, and more. His vision started to black out, and he closed his eyes... 

Amari bit himself as hard as he could and woke right back up. He ran and ran at the woman. The boss had looked shocked from this immense power and determination. Amari sliced at the Boss, he screamed the poison hurting him more and more. Than finally a clean cut to the body, finishing her off. Amari stood there coughing more blood before his body gave up on him. He wasn't knocked out this time, Amari on his knees on the floor. He couldn't move anything, Amari desperately tried to make some sort of movement. Liam had dashed at Amari and immediately started healing the poison out of him. This poison was stronger than the average, Liam kept fighting it to heal him. The poison drained out of his body, Amari looked at Mai. Mai stood there before he fell to the ground she could see him mouth out the words.

Amari: Was that good enough.

???: Amari took out the prisoner outbreak sir. 

???: Good, good. We start phase one, our first outbreak of monsters.
