Amari and Mai were walking to the hospital after the series of events. Usually Mai would be telling Amari off. But this time she had stayed silent. 

The walk was awkward, but they eventually made it to the hospital room. The others were still asleep. 

Amari: You just wanna wait..?

Mai was startled.

Mai: Oh yeah

Amari and Mai just stood, the awkward tension was in the air. None of them had the right fully needed braveness to say something. Amari realized that he had to say something.

Amari: So uh, flowers am i right?

Mai looked disappointed on his conversation starter.

Mai: Seriously?

Amari looked away.

Amari: What? I didn't know what to say.

Mai giggled a little bit before sitting down on the chair. Amari had a lot on his mind, the promise he made, his new goal, and the most important part. His friends. How will he ever convince them to keep going on a journey that seemed impossible. 'They don't know me all to well to just stick with me.' Amari was stuck onto that thought.

Shy woken up looking like she got struck by a nightmare. She puts her hands up looking around. Amari walks up to her and calms her down. 

Shy: D-did you get him.?

Amari: Yeah of course. 

Amari smiles at Shy reassuring her that everything is good. Mai walks up to Shy and checks her temperature. Shy started breathing steadily.

Mai: Damn, your temperature is all time high. You have a fever.

Shy started lay back down.

Shy: The fight probably brought me down with a fever.

Amari: How do you feel?

Shy: Could feel better, could feel worse.

Shy shrugs. Amari puts his head on hers. 

Shy: Wha- what are you doing?!

Shys face gets completely red caught off guard from this. Amari felt as the same heat from her head.

Amari: I have a fever too.

Shy had laid back down swooped from this randomness. Amari looked at Mai.

Mai: Weird way to check but I guess everyone who was in that fight got a fever. Meaning that each one of you guys are having some sort of nightmare. The illusions.

Mai moved towards Amari looking into his eyes. Mai pulled out her scanner and scanned his pupil. Amari was a little taken back from this. 

Mai: Hmm, okay. When you sleep tonight you shall have a nightmare. That's for sure. The illusions stuck into your brain causing them to be long lasting after the fight. It's a poison effect. The illusions can strike any moment. It shouldn't do anything now for you. You weren't knocked out from the fight. It will be random.
