Katie did as Ray said. She got dressed in the white dress he suggested. It was beatiful but she still didn't know what was happening.
She walked downstairs, Ray's breath stopped as she appeared. He was also dressed nicely, in a sand coloured suit. He still didn't say anything, he grabbed Katie's hand, placed a kiss on it and led her outside to his car. Helped her get in and drove to the Chalkwell beach. He put "Can't help falling in love" by Elvis on the radio, turned up the volume and helped Katie out of the car. The music was blasting from the car, filling the whole beach with the sound but it wasn't a problem since it was only them there.
,,What are we doing Raymond?"-Katie asked once again, smiling, hoping for an answer.
Ray led her to the water by holding her hand. There, at the shore he stopped and turned to face Katie. He kissed her and smiled.
,,Katie, today I almost lost you. But after everything you said after, I know now that pushing you away is the biggest mistake. I don't ever want to let go of you. And today you proved that you would stick with me for better or worst. So i want to promise my forever to you."-he begins confidently.
He pulls a little red box out of his pocket and kneels before Katie.
,,Katie Blackwood, would you give me the honour of being by your side forever as your husband and marrying me?"-Raymond asks smiling, full with emtions
Katie places her hands on her mouth out of surprise. She tears up.
,,Yes!"-She replies and kneels down as well to hug and kiss Ray.
Ray lifts her up in a hug and spins her around.

They laugh when the spinning stops and he puts the ring on her finger. They walk over to the water where Raymond lift her again and pulls her in for a long kiss.

While Ray was driving back, he was holding Katies thigh and caressing it. She was busy searching for a song and found "Just the two of us" by Bill Withers.
They were singing and holding one hand all the way back home. Ray would sometimes lift Katie's hand and place a kiss on it or touch the ring on her finger.
