Fairy Godmother waves him over to help with a TV in the room, she is just telling him about the surprise for the VKs.
FGM: since their parents can't be here for Family Day due to them being on the isle, i arranged a video call for them.
Rey: i don't think this is a good idea, but it's too late for that i guess

Bridget: is that Rey back there?!
The villains stop and look at Rey who is at the back of the VKs. The VKs all look at him as he steps forward. The Queen Of Hearts speaks again.
Bridget: looks like Red is even more disobedient than i thought.
Rey: don't say another bad word about Red
Bridget: i will do as i please, i told her to be off with your head! she can't even do that right!
Rey: says the failed Queen on the isle.
The Villains all laugh. Bridget's face is going bright red.
Bridget: HOW DARE YOU!
Rey: NO! HOW DARE YOU MISTREAT YOUR OWN DAUGHTER! HOW DARE YOU BE SUCH AN INSUFERABLE BITCH!
Everyone in the room and the Villains are shocked at his words.
Bridget: you little sh-
Rey punches the screen, his hand goes right through it. He pulls his fist out with slight burns on his arms, he is wincing every time he moves his arm. He walks out of the room.
Rey has gone for a walk until he reaches the docks. He sits down, his legs dangling over the edge. He is looking down at his arm.
Since he can conjure fire, his arm is healing quickly. He is sitting on the docks listening to music. His headphones are full blast playing one of his favourite songs he made.
Rey senses something behind him. He takes his headphones off. He can tell who is is by the foot steps.
Rey: you always seem to find me, Ellie
Ellie: you always go to the same places, Rey
Rey: here to make jokes out of me again? or maybe just stare at me?
Ellie: you saw me?
Rey: i see can sense people's presence around me, and i knew it was you.
Ellie: i was going down there to apologise on behalf of everyone, i just got flustered is all.
Rey: i could tell, i can also tell that you like me
Ellie: what makes you think that?
Rey: your body language, how you sometimes stutter when you talk to me, the fact you have been secretly writing our names together when you think nobody is looking.
Ellie is blushing hard, the others have just arrived.
Rey: i noticed you started doing it a few months ago.
Rey stands up and walks over to her. Ellie is a blushing mess.
Rey: while i do also have feelings for you, i'm not ready for a relationship. i hope you can understand that.
Ellie wouldn't admit it, she feels heart broken. She is holding back tears. She looks down. Rey lifts her head up so she's looking at him.
Rey: i know it's not what you wanted to hear, i'm sorry for that. i'm just not ready.
Ellie: i get it.
Rey: thank you for understanding, it's just not in the cards right now. but, i will give you one thing
Ellie: what's that?
Rey gives Ellie a quick kiss. Her face lights up.
Rey: that's a promise for when i feel like i'm ready, that i will choose you over anyone else.
Ellie hugs him. He gives a quick hug back. She starts crying.
