Y/NS POV After a restful sleep on the plane, we eventually made it to Portland, Oregon. We're all gathered in the hotel lobby, letting Coach Geno check in for us as we work out who's rooming with room. There's three rooms holding two king sized beds for the team and of course, one room for Coach.
We're all talking over each other due to how confusing it's becoming and it clearly shouldn't be.
"Okay wait-" Aaliyah catches all of our attention "how about this"
"Ines, Caroline, Aubrey, and I in one room, Ashlynn, Ice, and Azzi in one, and Nika, Y/n, Kk, and Paige in another?" I look at Paige, already smirking and I playfully roll my eyes as a response.
"I like that, we have balconies right?" Ice asks.
Aaliyah answers "Im pretty sure-"
"Did you guys figure it out?" Coach Geno asks while holding six keycards.
"Yessirrrr" Paige answers.
"K good, two key cards for each room, don't lose it or you're locked out for good. If you do, the school doesn't cover any extras so it's on you if the hotel makes you pay" he points at all of us.
"Sir yessir" I salute to him and the group laughs.
"Alright get out of here, be at the lobby tomorrow by noon. You got 24 hours to do something other than TikToking. Have fun and please be safe, I actually care about you guys" Geno walks away with his suitcase shortly following him.
"Awwww" we all say in unison.
"He actually cares" Caroline jokes.
"Okay so what we finna do?" Kk asks.
"Zip lining pleaasseee" Aubrey begs.
"Wait I wanna do that too" I object.
"Okay okay, let's just meet up at our room when we're ready" Nika response.
"Ooo I'm so excited" kk begins to walk to the elevator. Nika, Paige, and I begin to follow her.
All four of us fit into the elevator and kk clicks our floor number.
"So......." Kk quietly says.
"What is it...?" I question my suspension and squint my eyes while making eye contact with her.
"Club..?" She quickly but quietly whispers. In response I shake my head and sigh.
"Huuuuh?" Paige responds.
"She said club, bro"
Nika gasps "YES, yes please yes we have to". The elevator opens and Paige exits first "Yall are giving me a headache".
We all follow Paige down the hallway while dragging our suitcases.
"Just wait till later tonight and see what the group says, how bout that?" I reassure their excitement.
